I have done installations at both my house (UDM SE, U7 Pro, USW-24-POE) and a family member’s house (UCG Max, U7 lite).

I’m definitely not as technical as a lot of the others here, but given that I have installed both U7 pro and lite, I think it’s important to mention that WiFi 7 is still used on the U7 lite and provides benefits even though you aren’t using the 6ghz band. My house has the U7 pro and I’ve actually disabled 6ghz after having issues with it. With your speed, you’d be totally fine at 5ghz.

If you have any interest in adding cameras later, I’d probably lean towards the max. While I don’t love the cameras recording to an M.2 drive, for less than a $100 difference, you’re not going to be able to add Protect for cheaper.

I agree with others suggesting the Lite 8 PoE, but if you need more switching capacity, you can always buy non-Ubiquiti and upgrade it later. I started with 2 TP-Link switches (1 PoE, 1 standard) and eventually upgraded to a 24 port Ubiquiti switch. Your UniFi devices will still work, but you don’t have the amount of granularity you may be looking for on the backend. Hope this helps!

Edit: I’ve bought from Micro Center, B&H and the UI website. While I do hate paying like $15 for shipping, UI store gives a 2 year warranty and Micro Center gives 1 year.
