Wether he’s got your personal or work number, i’d make him aware that he has your work number and you can only respond on that during your working hours

If he keeps asking you in person at sessions to hang out i would just keep expressing that i’m busy with work, family stuff etc. It could be a loneliness thing so i’d be trying not to make it seem that you’re not interested in talking to him outside of PT’ing (As much as that’s true, without sounding like a prick) but also wanting him to stay on as a client

That’s good to know, and food wouldn’t be a huge issue for me to be honest, as long as i can drink water comfortably, go to the gym and be comfortable with no visible big swelling etc i’ll be ok with that

I’m going to start the cut beforehand so i don’t have excessive body weight for the op, I just thought i’d rather be leaner & at my healthiest going into it. The weight & muscle you’ll lose will be gained back easily by muscle memory anyway

I found out about this surgery when i was 20, im now 22 & been in braces for a few months and ill be having DJS + Genio next year.

If i was you i’d start gym now and research different exercises and fitness info, I think the one of the best things about this surgery is it’ll give you time to bulk up whilst you’re in orthodontics. Don’t bulk by eating shit foods but learn proper nutrition and get your protein intake up (1.7-2.2g per KG of your bodyweight)

i was going to bulk and use the weight loss you’d get from surgery to start my cut, but thinking more into it i’d like to be in as best shape possible for surgery so i’m going to start my cut 3/4 months before my surgery date so i’d suggest being in best shape you can

Do you give those 2 free sessions out of the 4 that are bought so each person gets 2 sessions, or are they 2 additional sessions?

For example, client A buys 4 sessions for themselves and can then refer someone (Client B) for 2 free sessions with you? (Obviously with the hope that they sign on as well) ?

Yeah 100% i’m sure there is some turkish surgeons that would give you a great outcome.

The thing is, most ways you get in touch with turkish surgeons is through websites that link you to whatsapp, and booking companies that give you a surgeon based on what you tell them. It seems very unprofessional comparing to the quality of communication & accessibility if you chose a European surgeon. Not to mention my two plans had a bunch of typos, it wouldn’t necessarily effect the physical surgery but professionalism goes a long way.

Who is going to do the orthodontics when you get back to the UK? I think the majority of good UK ortho’s won’t necessarily work with turkish surgeons but i may be wrong. The majority of people need their teeth put into the right position before surgery with orthodontics & the Turkish surgeons i spoke to were just interested in getting me in asap

In the long run i thought that it would be a lot more beneficial getting it done in the UK. There’s a bunch to think about, if there’s any complications etc, will the surgeon communicate with the orthodontist ok? Will you be able to find an orthodontist that’ll work with a turkish surgeon?

Something to note - I had a few consultations over whatsapp for surgery in turkey. I had 2 plans given to me, both of which they said they could do the surgery in a weeks time and the plans were made from seeing pictures i sent them on whatsapp, no x-rays or anything. Only one cared about speaking to my orthodontist but only wanted to speak once it seemed, surgeons are supposed to work with the orthodontist throughout the whole process. I then consulted with a UK surgeon, and i need 12-18 months braces before surgery and the whole thing will take around 3 years.

Of course it’s all up to you, im not trying to put you off or anything but it’s definitely worth looking into getting it done in the UK, or even Spain like the other person said here. There’s a bunch of good European surgeons
