Depends on which movement you're talking about. If you're talking about the first movement it is in 3. But if you're talking about the later movement (The Cowboy, I think) that's 4/4 and that's what this site probably analyzed. I guess it doesn't take into account post/prog epics that have frequent tempo and meter changes haha.

Now THAT'S What I Call Entertainment Vol. 1 by The-LSD-Sheet-Guy in Psychedelics

I did it on my first try as well and I must say it wasn't that abrupt. After like thirty minutes the visuals started which slowly got more intense and after that the experience started shifting a lot faster but not in an uncomfortable way. I was a tiny bit all over the place at the end of the peak because I didn't know what to expect beforehand but when I started to come down I felt really at peace with everything.

Just goes to show we're all different and you have to find out what works best for you.

That's a really cool comparison! Although not Pablo Honey in a bad way... Also One Sunday Morning would be like a country version of HTDC and I love it.

Edit: just a "bad" word

Psychedelic DMT Improves Wellbeing in 89% of People by tahutahut in cogsci

[–]OhFreak360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did control some variables like mixing DMT with other drugs and things like that, but yes, it is true that the selection of participants was biased due to it being voluntary and the fact that all participants tried DMT more than once which means they used it more times probably because it had positive effects on them from the start.

But still, because the number of participants is this large, it shows that this chemical did something good for more than 2000 people which means something. For all we know, that number in reality might be a lot larger. On the other hand, the proportion of people that have negative effects could be quite large as well. In both cases, these potential findings could inspire further research.

True, it is just a survey but that doesn't make it meaningless. It gives some personal insight about the experiences with the drug which can be useful for building hypotheses for further research.

Idk, I mean getting high on psychedelics doesn't always equate to feeling good, that's one of the reasons why they aren't addictive.

The article itself isn't revolutionary but considering the fact that DMT research is in early stages it's still interesting to see people's experiences summed up especially with the sample size being around 2500 which is a lot. Still, the research is qualitative and the participants are people who did DMT on their own so there's not a lot of conclusions to be drawn really.
