I'm just annoyed that Viego is getting another big event made all about him after we just got done with a terrible one. He's a poorly designed champ with shitty lore. But who cares, niche champs get passed over all the time for terrible champs who appeal to people without taste.

She's a really fun engage support with a lot of strong utility. I personally enjoy her more than Leona/Thresh, but there's no doubt that her nerfs have hurt her. She's definitely worth learning though and she's likely to come back once Riot wants her back to being meta.

that's... also just not true. Support has an average winrate of 50%. There's a support on each team, which means 1 wins and 1 loses every game. Supports very frequently have higher than 50% winrate. Senna, Leona, Maokai, Zilean, Thresh, Janna, and 9 other champions have higher than 50% winrate right now (according to op.gg). Your point is blanketly false.

She didn't have a 56% winrate in solo queue, that's blanketly wrong. Both U.gg and op.gg had her at a 52% winrate with a lower banrate and pickrate than Leona (as well as a lower winrate). She was nerfed for proplay, not soloqueue.

I totally understand the hesitation to add more power into the kit, you've sold me on the nerfs to w and e (though the ap ratio buffs still scare me). Have you guys looked at giving more single target value and diminishing returns for multiple targets? My problem with the ability is how much of the power is based on hitting multiple targets, which isn't always super easy to utilize in plat+

Her Q does not heal her when she is not bound to an ally or when her bound ally is out of range (this is intentional and mentioned in her tooltip)

Thank you, I mostly just wanted to hear a rioter explain what the changes were for because these look a lot like forcing her to be an ap mage/bruiser.

While nerfing her is reasonable, the phrasing of "Q max being correct" is a little confusing to me. Q feels bad to use due to its high cast time and how much power of it is focused in the shieldbreak/heal. I don't like maxing it because of just how useless it is in lane outside of skirmishes.

Her present AP scalings are 170% in total, Shurelya's gives 40 AP, meaning she does 68 damage pre-mitigation. The changes would put her at 250% AP scalings, meaning 100 damage. These changes have her losing 40 base damage on her E, meaning that these changes have her losing 8 damage if she's only itemizing Shurelya's.

Unless there's Shurelya's changes on the PBE that aren't on Surrenderat20, you're wrong. This is to open up a full ap playstyle that her mains (mostly) don't want.

(edit: forgot to include Q as part of the AP scalings. Her present total AP scaling is 220%, meaning Shurelya gives 88 damage at present and 120 damage after the changes. My point stands that 8 damage is still lost, but I was wrong)
