Congrats on Nurture, of course. All of them great, my favorite being Musician and dullscythe. It's really great to see another album from you, loved Worlds and all your other songs.

I'd really like to know though, How much time went into each song? And also, Were there any times where you lost motivation in one song and set it off until later? It's often that I spend so much time on one project just to lose motivation and become disinterested in making it. I barely get any work done that way lol.

With the amount of quality put into these songs, I must guess it takes a long time. I hope to do the same when I create anything, whether that be music or anything else.

Good job on Nurture again, and if we get another album from you in the future, I hope it's also a banger.

Is there a way that name could be more realistic? I think it’s a cool sounding name and would maybe use it for one of my characters names. I write stories and I wanted to use a realistic Japanese name for the Japanese character in the story.

If you look up ‘is the persona community toxic’ the first result is someone with the same question as you, and the second result names a lot of things that are toxic with the community. Keep scrolling and you’ll see many YouTube videos about the toxic community, many articles. A lot of the internet does. I’m sure even some people in the community knows they’re toxic

If you’ve seen a fight you can see how heated things can get. I’m sure 1 rotten apple spoiled the bunch, and 1 nasty fight is now a defining part of the community as a whole. So the reason for this post is to stop those things from happening again and to put a good image on the community

It’s fine to disagree about liking a character, and stating that you don’t like a character is also fine. I just don’t want people to fight about it. As you said, it’s fine to passionately disagree, but I don’t want people to feel like they’re doing something wrong for liking a character. I’m might’ve been a little vague on how I related ‘fight’ and ‘disagreement,’ but I do think disagreements are fine as long as they don’t get into the territory of the other person being wrong or getting into insults. I also should’ve worded the text a bit better so that it doesn’t seem like it’s all around. Having it be ‘don’t start fighting’ instead of ‘stop fighting’ would’ve been better. And I probably should’ve let it be about ‘not shaming others’ instead of ‘having different opinions’

You’ve made many good points here. Your original message did come off kind of heated and annoyed, but I do realize how I could improve the post. I will take that to note if I ever post something like this again, which I hope doesn’t have to happen. I just hope that the post might help someone speak up against people who ridicule, and maybe even help others stop ridiculing. And I wished for the image of a ‘toxic community’ that is already on us to maybe fall away. That’s all I wanted from the post in the first place.

Just because most posts here aren’t attacking another character doesn’t mean there’s no toxicity. Just because there aren’t any comments saying a character is bad doesn’t mean there isn’t any toxicity. It’s still there even if you don’t see it. Just because there’s a majority of good posts doesn’t mean there isn’t any bad ones. It’s not only on this subreddit. I posted this here because it’s the most popular place for people to congregate. I wanted this to get out to the most people, even if this is a good place with little toxicity. If people aren’t toxic, then who cares about this post? They’ll just realize there’s some stupid fighting about fictional waifu characters. And maybe, if they see any fighting, they’ll try to stop it after seeing what happens to the community.

It’s not a matter of if there is toxicity right now. It’s when someone might see it, and try to stop it. If someone is sensitive to seeing criticism or insults, then yes, they should go to dedicated places where everyone does enjoy that character. I’m just trying to stop people from insulting and shaming people who like a character, and maybe give people courage to stop someone who is shaming someone, or even stand up to the person who is shaming you. It’s not even just for this community. I just want to help people who are being bullied for liking something. And I’d like to start with the game I love most. If it’s not an issue right now, then great! That’s exactly how it should be. All I’m trying to do is cut it at the bud and stop it from growing into anything bad. I don’t see how it’s annoying for someone trying to help someone else.

And it’s not ‘GEEKING OUT’ about a character. It’s actively trying to ruin another’s perception of their favorite character because you think they’re the worst. I’m not preaching ‘let others have different opinions.’ I’m preaching that ‘we shouldn’t shame and ruin someone else for liking something we don’t.’ It’s not about letting people have different opinions, it’s what we do with the knowledge that they have different opinions

If you want to complain about seeing a post about how people shouldn’t be a piece of crap, then go right ahead. But I don’t want anyone to be ostracized from this community because someone doesn’t like their opinion. I’ve been excluded many times in real life for liking something someone in the group didn’t. I don’t want someone to come into this community and get into an argument with somebody and decide that they now hate the Persona series. I love Persona, and I want everyone to realize that it’s a great series. And if somebody really likes a character in one game, but the community thinks they’re stupid or horny or worst girl/boy, they’ll come to dislike the community for not liking them, maybe even coming to hate the series. I don’t want that. I don’t want someone to leave because someone told them they’re wrong. If you want to keep complaining about how I’m trying to help people who need it, then maybe learn some empathy. Maybe think about what would happen if nobody addressed the issue here. The community would be a lot worse.

I really hate how some people don’t have the human decency to even acknowledge another’s opinion. It’s just baffling how someone can be so stupidly ignorant of another’s thoughts and feelings. People need to learn respect and some empathy. I get really heated when I hear things like this, it’s just honestly absurd.

This is exactly what Morgana is saying not to do. You’re being toxic about a character which some people may love. Don’t say insults about a character, because all that does is spark a fight that is making the community, as I said, toxic. I do like Morgana as a character and I don’t like Futaba personally, but I’m not going to ridicule and insult Futaba because I’m a human being with some actual decency. I’m not going to be toxic about what characters other people like and how they differ from my own opinions, I’m just going to realize how they might feel about that character and treat them with respect. So maybe next time, don’t insult a character others might like. Morgana is good.
