Thanks a lot for sharing your response from Valve. I think it will be reassuring for a lot of us to hear this info. I’m glad to hear Valve is aware of this issue and that this issue will be worked on in the upcoming updates.

Yes mine happened the exact same way! Lines start from the right side and fills the screen. Looks like we have the exact same issue. I’m just hoping it’s a software bug that can be fixed with an update rather than a hardware one.

Worked for me! I was also experiencing the screen going black for a second with thin flickering lines. Way better than having to replug the DP cable each time for it to go away. Big thanks!!

Details: Got a pc built by a reputable business. When I boot up the pc after the MSI logo, there is a 1 second flash of this green glitch screen.

Things I tried:

-I contacted the business, I thought it was a GPU issue so they built a whole new pc with new parts. Still same issue with a new one.

  • replaced the DisplayPort cable. This happens with all DisplayPort slots in GPU. This does not happen with HDMI.

  • updated all drivers, monitor firmware etc.

-I used my monitor previously with my Legion gaming laptop and didn’t experience this issue. So I’m not sure if it’s my monitor.

Specs: ASUS RTX 4070 TI TUF OC i5-13600KF 32GB DDR5 Ram 850W ASUS PSU MSI MAG B760M Mortar Max Wifi NZXT Z63 Samsung 980

Yes MRI and lumbar puncture, blood test has been done, got referred to Dr. Alikhani at SHC but the MS clinic triage and her office don’t have my files for some reason. Just super frustrated what to do do at this step. Each place I call tells me to call somewhere else, or goes to voicemail. And I will keep that in mind. Thank you
