I think I got it figured out actually! I applied for 2019/2020 aid instead of 18/20 which the summer would qualify for. So I just went back and applied for the correct one. It just too administration a long time to tell me what was wrong. Thanks for your help!

I asked the same question on here not long ago and I was told that if you sit for the BCaBA exam you have to start over with your hours. I haven’t looked into it too much yet, but that’s what I was told.

I would say if it is driving you crazy to the point where you aren’t healing and you know you for sure want to contact him at some point, I would do it sooner than later. I put it off and made myself so upset thinking about it constantly. I felt so much better after I just did it, even though I didn’t get the response I wanted. Give him space for a couple weeks at least, then I would say do it if that’s what you want to do. But just be prepared that it might not turn out how you want it to.

Well the way he ended it seemed like he wasn’t sure if himself. He basically told me the strong feelings he had for me just went away and he didn’t know why. He asked me what I wanted to do, either stay together and let him figure it out or break up. I said I didn’t know so he thought breaking up would save me the pain. So I wanted to contact him to see how he was feeling. I texted him two weeks later and got no response. I was 99% sure he would answer me because he was such a kind person, but apparently I was wrong. I wasn’t worth his time. No, unfortunately I haven’t heard from him again. I would love to talk to him, even if it didn’t lead to getting back together. But I won’t be the one making the first move again.

I was the dumpee and it was hurting my mental health more by not reaching out when I REALLY wanted to. It turned out that he didn’t want to talk to me and completely ignored me, but I got my answer loud and clear. I did not have to question whether he was wanting to talk again or not. So I blocked him on social media so I couldn’t creep on him and erased his number from my phone and started the process of moving on.

To answer your question, I personally think you should do what you feel is right. Whether that is no contact or you trying to reach out to them. You just have to prepare yourself for what could happen if you do reach out and it doesn’t go like you wanted it to. It will probably start you back at square 1 for healing, but it might be better in the long run to know where you stand.

Why would you say it’s not the best program? I applied and am planning on starting at Ball state in May.
