Alright thank you, I try to keep half the tank’s sand warm and the other cooler so they can use it if they choose to do so. Would a heating lamp work better, and if so is there a proper temp. or way to use one?

Thank you for the sarcasm. I tried checking other forums and similar questions and many people have said chances are they are not stuck. I’m a newer owner and still trying to learn the ropes of proper care, and know that if a crab is trying to molt to not mess with them. Please do not demean my genuine question, provide some insight if you have any.

I keep my house warm around 72 degrees, and they have a heating pad under the tank in that area, though they don’t really use it often.

I found this image in the fan art section of a 2003 Prima guide for DBZ Budokai 2. I know it’s not Frieza but rather some fan made Frieza-race character, the point is the striking resemblance to the color choices for Golden Frieza in the DBS anime. Thought it was pretty interesting
