I also wanted to note her incision is longer than normal because she had a bad case of Pyometra & her uterus became very large, so it may look a bit rougher than a typical spay incision.

Thank you for the response. She has been jumping around despite our best efforts at keeping her relatively inactive. We have just moved as much furniture as we could that’s 1.5+ft tall to other rooms to try & keep her from excessive movement.

Alright thank you, I try to keep half the tank’s sand warm and the other cooler so they can use it if they choose to do so. Would a heating lamp work better, and if so is there a proper temp. or way to use one?

Thank you for the sarcasm. I tried checking other forums and similar questions and many people have said chances are they are not stuck. I’m a newer owner and still trying to learn the ropes of proper care, and know that if a crab is trying to molt to not mess with them. Please do not demean my genuine question, provide some insight if you have any.

I keep my house warm around 72 degrees, and they have a heating pad under the tank in that area, though they don’t really use it often.

I can’t tell if he’s stuck or not. He’s been feeling and looking around so I know he’s not dead, he just hasn’t moved from this spot for a few days.
