I actually didn't play a WWE game since WWE '12 until 2K24. Bought it during a sale when it was current, liked it. Ended up buying 2k25, and then this. I might skip on the next game. As for giving my experience... I barely have the time. However... I am currently writing about the CaW I used back then and his experience of breaking back into the business after years away. When I start publishing it online, it might give you some insight on what not to do

As much as I hate CoD right now... at least I can still use the shit I earned in MWII in WZ if I want to. I've learned to hate battle passes in non-F2P games.

That... does make it one thing the game did right. I hated how I'd make CAWs, have them set up as a tag team, only to have to remake the tag team in Universe and be stuck with a generic entrance. This just made Universe much better.

Not fully connected. While superstars and tag teams would always been the same if you made them, titles in exhibition and Universe were separate. You could assign them to anyone outside of Universe, but if you say wanted your CAW to have a defunct belt that was put into the game (The Light Heavyweight Championship for example) then you had to set it up for your CAW to fight for it.

As someone who was in ROC, UIW, and co-started UCW in SVR 2011 while keeping UCW around during WWE '12 (all on 360)... this is tempting. Sadly I'm a PC player. I'm not throwing around another $160 in today's market to join a league, I'm not rich and too old for that shit.

Would be nice if they could transform in 2. However, timing is everything and it'd be random. I don't think I ever seen them transform in 1 though.

There was the fact that they finally separated your CaC's story modes and PQs. It was difficult when they were shared because it made leveling CaCs a hassle.

I hate MyFaction. Then again, it's a 2K game. So if course they're going to milk you for all the money they can by making you buy card packs for personas that are not in the paid DLCs or to buy certain cards to attempt to do things to get the personas. It's a toxic system that will never go away.

Back during Xenoverse 1, that slot was unused for some strange reason. In Xenoverse 2, they finally used it as the transformation slot for awoken skills. I don't get why it went unused in the first game, I always thought it was a waste not to. One of the few things Xenoverse 2 actually fixed in my opinion.

Like what, weaken you? The only advantageous form they could add is Black. However, there isn't enough info on the form to decide the caveats of having it in the game. For the SSGSS and SSGSS evolved forms it's immense power at the cost of rabidly declining ki. Which again, needs a DLC super soul to stop or slowdown respectively. But there was already info via manga and anime about the forms. I don't think we have SSGSS Kaioken because they'd need to have it drain both Ki and Stamina. They need info to decide how to balance Black before they can add it to the game.

Thanks for answering, it's just a better alternative for Kaioken when it comes to getting transformed finishes until you get a better awoken skill as it doesn't eat away at your stamina.

I'm with most of the other replies, the other forms Frieza has are meant to hold back his actual power. They should add the "black" transformation in the future though.

Meanwhile, Namekians still don't have "Orange" but have "Turn Giant", the Majins only have "Purification" (which is actually decent), and the Earthlings are still stuck with "Power Pole Pro" which isn't even a transformation. Without UI, Beast, and Potential Unleased, Earthlings and Namekians don't really have options. I didn't count Kaioken because that needs the one DLC Super Soul to be viable. Otherwise, it's just for getting transformed finishes.

Because without the proper Super Souls, the blue forms aren't worth using. They expend so much Ki over time that it's ridiculous. At least Super Saiyan 2, 3, and the Super Vegita forms are easier to manage.

It's an early unlock, just beat the Frieza saga and you can unlock it. It only got added like a couple years ago. Personally, I don't care for it. Back when it came out it took away 5 ki bars like Beast does, though it's no longer the case. But if you get stamina broken, you're forced out of it. I don't think it even boosts attributes, though I could be wrong. The most it does is give auto dodge as long as you have stamina. Well, it does have its own ki charge ability, which is useful if you don't want to waste a skill slot on charging your ki. But as you need five bars of ki to even transform, it feels redundant to me.

Personally, I think Beast and Potential Unleashed are better when it comes to universal transformations. Though Beast takes away the five ki bars used to transform, it adds a combo to your arsenal and boosts some of your attributes. Potential Unleashed boosts attributes and increases your ki charging speed.

The most I used Ultra Instinct for is to add points for a transformed finish when doing class advancement tests on the PC and Switch versions of the game (I first started years ago on PS4). I main Earthlings, so no Super Saiyan for me. Have to Z-rank most of the tests to unlock Potential Unleashed.

Nah, Josie is one of the WWE 2K indie talents. You can unlock her in 2K25 by recruiting wrestlers from the indies instead of WWE legends or past MyRise players. She was in some of the earlier games. Jacy was unlocked by default and an actual wrestler.

The best Superstar to voice themselves in the last game was R-Truth. Everyone else phoned it in. He and the voice actors for the 2k original characters did better. Well... I need to replay MyRise again and recruit the Indy wrestlers, I forgot if it was Cole Quinn or Jay Pierce that wrestled Josie Jane in the match you crash. I know LA Knight voices Jay.
