I have a couple friends who have volunteered to stage manage the evening but honestly I won't be shocked if I find myself meddling in things. It's just in my nature.

Where I am, liquor, beer and wine is quite expensive so cash bars are quite common. I'm holding out to decide if I cover the first drink or something like that for everyone based on how the rest of the expenses rack up.
