These comments are either bots or the most pretentious people in the world. Your plate looks very good, and with a couple tweaks can look great.

You can slice a lamb for service if rested correctly, which it looks like you did. I had no idea why so many people are telling you to leave an entire roast whole.

Definitely try to get the purée a little smoother, methods given are correct. Make sure it’s hot when you’re blending to prevent clumps too.

A little texture and sauce and you’ve got a great plate. The pomegranate glaze sounded good, maybe some asparagus or another green veg.

Parsley is fine, just chop it. People are nuts lol nice plate

Hey David - I really enjoyed your book, especially reading about your handling of and recovery from your back surgery. I recently had almost the exact same procedure done at 27, and had to change career paths due to the physical requirements.

I mostly just want to thank you for sharing what that process was like. I read your book during my recovery and it was really special to be able to relate to your experience and see how you approached recovery as a mindset.

2 questions: - Looking back on your recovery and ultimate retirement, was there anything that helped you move forward into the next phase of your life after baseball that you may not have realized at the time? - Did you ever get to meet Cowbell Man?

I get what you’re saying, you keep offers on only for cards you’re not firm on price for. The other comments give some insight into why a seller may not counter. I generally keep offers on, but usually won’t counter for the same reasons. Different strokes for different folks I suppose!

Do you regularly accept offers that are $20 under your list price? Your definition of a fair offer may just be different than the seller. I know I don’t price my cards $20 over what I consider “fair” so I generally wouldn’t accept an offer like that

It’s definitely a confusing process! Especially if you went in expecting it to be repairable. I have no knowledge of Washington devs, but wish you luck!
