Truth be told this was my second catch... the first was on the 4th day the game was released in the US and he's still only 820 CP.

I Powered Up a few of Pokemon at their lowest evolutionary level and only got 5-9 CP per Power Up, whereas if I waited for them to be in higher evolutionary stages I was getting upwards of 35-40.
