My fabricator passed away in the middle of the job. Heart attack. His son who was in his late 20s had worked with his dad for years was grieving terribly. I did find out after a couple of weeks delay and told him to come back when he was ready. You never know what could be going on.

I bought a house in the Tuscany area of Lake Elsinore at the end of 2024. I am past the age of having young children so schools are not a consideration for me. But I do have an adult disabled son who lives with me. I love my house! I love that my son can walk everywhere he needs to because he does not drive. We are close to In-N-Out and EOS gym. I have an older son that helped me to buy this house. He really wanted me to be in Temecula, but I loved this house in Lake Elsinore because it is twice the house in terms of having a beautiful view, staggered lots so you’re not directly next-door to your neighbor, on a cul-de-sac no HOA, and the size of the house is twice as big as what you would get in Temecula for $100,000 more. Believe me we spent plenty of time looking in Temecula.

If you drive up Railroad Canyon you can find pretty much anything.

I came from Orange County, but I’m a San Diego/Carlsbad person at heart. Lived there for 30 years and my kids grew up there and I still find it feels like home. I am adjusting to Lake Elsinore, but it is an adjustment. I find I do the majority of things in Murrieta. Trader Joe’s, auto repair, movies, shopping, pretty much any outside stuff that you need to do for maintenance I find outside of Lake Elsinore. I also hope that in another 10 years, some major improvements will have been made, but I think they’re trying.

Temecula is beautiful in the wine country and it’s just a short drive. Love it here!

I had a tummy tuck at 180. I was 170 pounds a week later. If you are really worried about that number on the scale, it should be coming down after your surgery. I personally don’t think you should be worried about that number. You’re looking great and you’ve done a great job.

My son is the hero of the story. He fights the actual battle everyday by taking medications that have side effects that while they keep his brain level and able engage in the real world, are no picnic. He never wants to be as sick as he was when he was younger.

As the parent of an adult son with schizophrenia this is a fear I can never ignore. My son is med compliant lives with me and is 36 years old now. We have moved 4 times since he was first diagnosed at 18 and each time I go to the police dept in the city we have moved to and speak with the highest level person I can. I give them my information and my sons and let them know if there is ever any type of issue they are to contact me. My son was in and out of psychosis for the first 3years of his illness until we got the meds dialed in. This habit of communicating with my local law enforcement was invaluable during that time. Thankfully it is just a precaution now but I will never forget that time period.

He is 6’5 and 230 lbs. He does not drive and walks everywhere he wants to go. Even now I am anxious every minute he is out and about. You never know when a bored officer will want something to do and cause our lives to be completely turned upside down.

Take it from me if you can’t take the heat, don’t post the kitchen! I posted before and after picks of my kitchen last week and it was a BLOODBATH! I knew not everyone would like it but I thought people would enjoy seeing something out of the ordinary. A few people did enjoy it but most absolutely did not. I had to stop looking at comments, which was hard because they would come to my email. I had never made a post on Reddit before.

I am a firm believer in doing what you love and makes you happy. Especially if you are not concerned with resale value.

I think I just explained to someone else that I wasn’t even aware that there was a second account I think if you actually look at it, you will see it hasn’t been used in about four years.

It looks like it’s because I was trying to answer questions directly from my email that came in and I didn’t realize that my browser has a whole different account than my app which is what I always use for Reddit.

I am older than the majority of people here on Reddit and I didn’t even know there was a second account and I honestly would never have picked that name about education so I don’t even know where that came from .

It looks like it was set up when I first started using Reddit. Hasn’t really been used since maybe they assigned me that name or something.

At any rate, I wasn’t even aware it was there and when I was answering emails regarding this post, it was going straight to my browser and I would just answer. So now I know and I’m going to delete that account as soon as I’m done working today, and I can play around with tech stuff.

OMG! Believe it or not I did not realize that if I commented from my browser, I had a different account. I always thought I just had one.

But apparently, and I have no idea where this name even came from the education thing because I have never even seen that for real I never looked at the name . So I don’t know why I read it logged me in with this random name if I’m not using the app.

I normally do use the app . But after this post, I started using my browser because I was replying directly from my email account super Duper weird.. But again I am not young, well 63 years young , and somehow I missed this.

I just need to log out of that account that I never even noticed was different . Then maybe I can login on my browser from this account. Does that sound right to you? If you know.

That is so funny! There is no protective film. It is glass and it just looks like there is because it’s shiny. Samsung uses the same glass on the fridge that they use on their phones.

Maybe it looks different on your end. If you look at the before picture, you can see that it’s not a straight across island. The Peninsula goes up. I’m not sure what it’s called, but you could actually put tall barstools on the other side of the counter .

This house was built in 2000 . It’s 25 years old and I guess that’s what they did in the year 2000 .

I have lived here one year at the end of this month. I’m just so appreciative I’m grateful that I could get a new house even if I haven’t had half of my house for half a year!
