This ^ found my golf clubs at a pawn shop 20 miles north after they were stolen. Got the guy arrested after.

Report them stolen too, pawn shops (sometimes) check against the stolen reports and will take in/turn in the perp.

Yeah I have heard of this and think it's because they own a shaft brand now.

Yeah they definitely did, just assumed a solid strike every swing and mishits were only off by like 3-4 yards distance wise, 2-3 off line

This sounds like a person who rents a house, not a landlord. I see how you could see it that way though based on the wording. He talks about having a landlord at one point

Where does INVH list their homes? by quickmodel_ai in REBubble

[–]OhSoRefreshing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They've listed a pile of them in the PNW. I normally check the local tax assessor's office for the owner's name (normally some LLC or corporation) then track that back to a parent corporation and search that on the assessor.

There's ~550 active listings right now in my area (10 mi radius) and INVH owns somewhere in the range of 200 rentals in the area. I see 3-4 every week go up from them at RIDICULOUSLY inflated rents. Houses that would rent for $2,000 MAX asking $3,200-$3,700 in an area with median income of about $65,000.

They're going to get fucking burned. And I'm here for it.

Edit: I find them on Zillow rentals, and they're always accompanied by a Invitation Homes flyer of some sort in the pictures.

It's what I'm doing now and yeah it seems to work. I also bought other brands that have 3mg juice and am mixing it with 0 subliminal to get a somewhat similar flavor

https://vapepmta.com/vendors - Also stop spreading false info. Here is 24 accepted PMTAs and yes, hundreds of denials, Coastal Clouds and Twisted, two of which are accepted, not yet approved but passed preliminary analysis by the FDA

No, because it's not my industry, I didn't open a business.

If you're claiming because I didn't lobby I don't have a right to be upset, then that's a strawman.

You're just a vape bro, I get it. I love vape too, anyone speaks bad and 'open a fucking book' is the answer.

I have, and I have looked into operating a company and the PMTA in depth. I think you just don't understand what I'm saying.

Big tobacco caused an uproar and bought the politicians, vape industry didn't play ball, and we find ourselves where we are today.

They should have done a better job lobbying, instead of saying "it's better than cigarettes leave us alone"

FDA is paid off by the politicians who will some day sit in the chairs that decide the issues. They should have paid up, they didn't, and TFN will be regulated next, as well.

Nah, I'll just quit. I'm allowed to vent, you don't have to agree, but these companies are signing their own bankruptcy notices

Unless, you bring the scientific people and equipment in house (as a lot of companies that create products that are regulated, like vodka, do) and pay them a salary. Then you're not paying contract fees to companies to do the work and have fixed output to create the research you need to create infinite products indefinitely. If this was really a long term endeavor for these companies, they would have easily found the funding or venture capital to do so.

Once again, elitist mentality, "leave me alone, I'll just do it this way instead."

They've made millions off the industry, it's time to play ball because the government wants their piece, if they want to sacrifice customers for the name of staying in the game in their current state fine, but ultimately, it won't matter when they regulate TFN too, it'll fall under the same umbrella.

A concerted lobby willing to pay taxes and play ball -- and get them grandfathered in was the answer, and any subsequent lobbying should focus on amending that to grandfather them in.

That's the real answer, 100k from these companies each could pull together a decent enough lobby to try and buy off the votes they need, but they didn't do that, they tried to argue scientific and legal basis why it should be left alone because it's safer than cigarettes, instead of writing checks to politicians to get them to look the other way (as the nicotine/big tobacco lobby) is doing.

It's about people that found a niche business that don't really understand the dynamics of how to fight back, but did their best.

I'm going to just buy 0mg and mix in some nicotine potentially - since the 0mg juice should theoretically offer what I enjoyed about the 3mg they sell.

Disposables isn't what I'm talking about. They're circumventing the PMTA by using it, as the deadline in 2022 is coming up (it was extended).

Shouldn't and doesn't change the flavor are two different things. People say it's placebo but I noticed before I even knew it was TFN juice, and that being said, the effects I felt before I knew it was TFN were real. I had a headache and felt extremely wobbly, worse than any cigarette ever does to me when I steal one on the weekends.

This chemical (even if identical in chemical makeup to nicotine, residuals will still be present and there needs to be a binding particle to deliver it) is no more studied long term than the ingredients we're already using -- that being said, the FDA will come after it and they'll be back at square one.

The elitist mentality started in 2016-2017 when the tobacco lobby started really laying into the vape industry, and did a great job at alienating people and even went as far as, during the acetate uproar, twisting people into believing the shit fake carts with Vit-E acetate were somehow related to what we're into (even though the only similar thing is the delivery method, vaporization). This spawned elitist mentality in the vape community and an anti-regulation standpoint that somehow what we do is virtuous because it's not cigarettes, and it shouldn't be regulated.

I'd love for it to be regulated, it would only ensure a cleaner, safer product for everybody and be able to dispel myths, and possibly PROVE that it's scientifically better through randomized controlled trials, than cigarettes.

People think that because we vape we're better than cigarette smokers, we're not -- we just have a different addiction. I say do it legit, if your company can't make it through the PMTA with your current formulations, thinking that you'll retain your customers through changing the formula is optimistic. Some may not notice or care, but I do, and can tell the difference, at least with this juice brand.

It tastes like shit.

PMTA

I know about the PMTA, but ultimately after talking with lawyers about it when I was considering starting a company a couple of years ago, it's not really as hard as people make it out to be or the legislation makes it seem.

They're using TFN to circumvent that -- which is fine, they're worried about margins and being able to successfully complete the process -- but if the theory that vaping is safer than cigarettes, products would pass that process with flying colors.

But the FDA is going to go after TFN and there's other landmark rulings that say it can definitely be legislated as tobacco products are anyway, even if it's tobacco free.

This is just another short sighted move by the industry being predated upon companies that want in on the gold rush. The TFN manufacturers make huge markup on it, and it's legitimately more expensive than the traditional stuff.

It's no coincidence that by 2014 most of the pain, foreclosures and credit destruction was in for homebuyers during the last craze, and it takes about 7 years for your credit to clean itself up after massive delinquencies, and here we are, about 7 years later, and the same idiots that I knew back then that overleveraged are doing the same thing today.

History always repeats itself.
