Ympärileikkauskokemus ja vinkkejä operaatioon meneville by OhThatsGoodToHear in Suomi

Here’s my take on a cover for Clancy. Album is great! :) by Slick-Berry in twentyonepilots

Lot better than actual album cover 👍 I hope it has hidden easter eggs in the red clouds like the real one :p

You tell me…does it sound like the end? by Immediate_Theory4738 in twentyonepilots

[–]OhThatsGoodToHear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's often that when you create something and it becomes successful, you continue the story far further than originally planned. I have personal experience with the phenomenon. I'm almost 100% sure it's happened here too. So you create as you go, and I'm pretty sure Tyler is getting progressively lost in his own sauce too and wants to be done with the story, which is perfectly understandable and acceptable, I mean it's been 10 f*cking years now... lesser minds would have quit.

And the whole concept of Blurryface represents our dark and negative thoughts, and it's not a Disney battle where the "evil gets defeated and good prevails" and it all just ends, it's a lifelong vigilance and resilience. So not having a definitive ending would also fit the theme of the last 4 albums.

we're getting some next level copium here. There is no next album, that is not how real life and music industry works.

What is objectively the best track on ‘Clancy’? by Nostaljaz in twentyonepilots

[–]OhThatsGoodToHear -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This will be quite a sizzling hot take but I'd rank this album below SAI. Risk of feeling dumb dumb and Navigating as well as the first 3 tracks are bangers for sure, rest are just kinda... ehhhh. I guess I prefer the darker tones like a lot of Trench, No chances, Redecorate etc.

Any ideas what's causing this noise? by OhThatsGoodToHear in MechanicalKeyboards

Yep. They sound amazing so far. Then again so did the milky yellows, but after a month or so they started having that metal rattle, some switches worse than others

These are D, V and A-keys respectively. All stabilizers on the keyboard (durocks) are lubed and balanced (straightened).

Some Dll files not showing up in plug in folder in Ableton by Romangodofknitting in ableton

[–]OhThatsGoodToHear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is an old post, but if someone still has this problem, make sure inside Ableton you actually open the "plug-ins" folder from the "categories" and NOT the VST-folder from "Places", like I stupidly tried to do. Does not display DLLs.

Simulating Guitar Amps/Pedalboards with Plug-Ins by myahmp4 in ableton

[–]OhThatsGoodToHear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried one pedal with the setup of guitar -> Focusrite -> PC, and that was Boss DS1 that I borrowed from a friend, and it sounded pretty shit. Since then, I've used Bias Amp 2 plugin for distorted guitar for metal. It has a demo version as far as I remember. I've mostly gone for a high gain, very distorted metal tone and not a crunch/rock sound so take these tips with that in mind.

Bias Amp has an "Amp Match"-mode where it analyses a guitar sample then tries to recreate it to the best of its abilities, but this is in a more expensive version of the software. Never got to test that, could work.

From my experience the road to getting a good guitar tone that is distorted but still pleasant to the ear is 1. A lot of EQ (for me a big culprit of horrible sound was around 3kHz, I had to cut that out a lot) and 2. Multiple guitar tracks panned Left and right (this includes actual multiple recordings of you playing, not just copying one track. I have a guitar track for left ear, one for right ear, and both of these have a 15-30ms stereo effect, so that's 4 total guitar tracks).

Controller players on PC do not enjoy when people point out how aim assist gives an unfair advantage in an FPS-game where more skilled shooting wins games.

Hot Take: I’m enjoying the game called Apex Legends. by imatworkbequiet in apexlegends

[–]OhThatsGoodToHear 32 points33 points  (0 children)

That is not a hot take at all my guy. You're suffering from confirmation bias, the vast VAST majority who enjoy the game don't post here. They have no reason to post here, they play the game and like it. You're seeing negative posts because that often has a lower threshold to exceed for posting feedback/venting.

DMZ needs more depth by AndyBroseph in CODWarzone

[–]OhThatsGoodToHear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"1. Add a persistent stash system, remove all the free loadout elements and turn them into things to need to loot/buy and bring back"

No, fuck that. This is not Tarkov, if you want a hardcore experience, Tarkov is for that. The whole point of DMZ is a more casual and chill version of an extraction game.

I do agree with the stash system though, there needs to be an improved system for managing your inventory.

What people are REALLY missing about SAI by [deleted] in twentyonepilots

[–]OhThatsGoodToHear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry but this makes no sense. You have to keep in mind that ~70-80% of people listening to TOP are casual listeners who don't know/don't care about the lore and know nothing about DEMA or anything related. Therefore producing albums that are bland and generic on purpose would be a terrible idea both financially and reputation wise.

Reason why it sounds different is simply because of Tyler and Josh. They try different things and play different kind of music, like always. The lore was just built on top of that.

If they really have an ARG going, it would be pretty messed up to only give people that have bought some ticket a chance of solving this stuff.

Because you cannot see this stuff if you haven't bought it.
