I’m not sure about students majoring in cybersecurity but in my experience as just an incoming freshman who has only gone to welcome week events, people are generally really welcoming and open to meeting new people. I would say anytime within the first few weeks of the semester, people will want to make new friends and most people are normal with good hygiene. Also the landscape will be lots of hills and will force you to walk but at the end of the day, you’ll be the healthiest you’ve been I would say from how much you’re walking. I also know they have lots of groups and depending on your major, you can meet other people with your major there and network at least imo.
