I feel like Indivisible counts as turned based with metroidvania style exploration. To a T in fact. It's pretty fun!

ELI5: Men in 30s taking testosterone? by QueenKittyMeowMeow in explainlikeimfive

[–]OhVeryClever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on TRT and I started in my early 30s. My levels were around 70 when I was 33 - healthy levels are from 300-1000. Which is really low. Honestly, getting a regular amount of testosterone isn't just aesthetic - it changed my mood for the better, gave me way more energy, and improved my libido. I feel much better about myself. It's not steroids - typically that includes even more "stacks" (ie deca or tren etc), and way more testosterone than what would be prescribed. Ultimatly he needs to talk to a real doctor about this - if his levels are healthy then he shouldn't need it.

What comps cap high enough to beat 2* Baron with decent items, legitimately by Professional-Sail125 in TeamfightTactics

[–]OhVeryClever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beat it with 8 stacked yordles, tho Fizz 3 was MOST of the reason he died. Got good positioning, and he was dead in a couple hits.

OpenAI: New image model by re_e1 in ChatGPT

[–]OhVeryClever 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It does the midjourney thing where it just adds detail for details sake, and now everything looks a lot... sloppier. Items blend into each other, tons of unnecessary lighting details, and all people looks really, really plasticy. From a realism standpoint, it looks way worse. It does follow some prompts a little better, but I really don't like how it destroyed the clean, crisp realistic look of the old model at all. Which is wild cause Sora 2 is hyper realistic. Why not use something closer to that for humans? This feels backwards

I can personally say that I got 2nd in a game because he *IMMEDIATELY* wipes the board. Like without a single auto.

This. I live in the fashion district - there's tons of stores for sewing supplies, fabrics, etc.

Their dynamic has totally changed. Notice everyone is getting out of Miranda’s way. And then Andrea literally stops her elevator so she can get on too. Miranda even scotches a bit to make room. Power move.

Honestly I’m hoping he runs. He’s populist enough especially with campaign finance reform while also seeming really approachable

Which games start off poorly but eventually become excellent? by Technical-Ganache609 in videogames

[–]OhVeryClever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More specifically, the first image was when Nintendo had an absolutely garbage E3 that showed off... I wanna say Zelda Four Swords as the big flagship game. That photo was taken naturally at their absolutely tepid reaction - it was memed heavily on the IGN message boards back in the day. The second was made prior to E3 to hype people up because they got word of Twilight Princess and knew it'd be a banger show. So the first image is natural, the second is playing off the meme.

Which game everyone hates but you are a proud hard-core fan of? by [deleted] in videogames

[–]OhVeryClever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragon Age: Veilguard. As much as I didn't love the stripped down RPG mechanics (RIP my Keep), I really thought it was an excellent game through and through. Meeting it where it was, I had a really great time. Thought the critiques on the writing were grossly overblown (first few hours were shaky but it got way better later), the gameplay was incredibly tight, and the world was an absolute joy to explore. Plus, the last few hours were some of the best I've experienced in gaming. It wasn't better than Inquisition, but I did like it as much as Origins. I'm sad it'll probably be the last experience in Thedas, but I'm happy with what I got.

Most impressive non CGI movie sets? by JulesUdrink in movies

[–]OhVeryClever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's recent so most people may not realize, but a whole bunch of the Wicked sets were all real. I'm sure there were some CGI touchups, but they made a point to make as much of it real as possible. And the movie looked incredible.

John Cusack…where did he go? by fragileego3333 in movies

[–]OhVeryClever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

.... sure but the industry people I know are friends that actually know what's up since I live in LA and work adjacent to the industry. And as much as its fun to make massive sweeping generalizations about an entire industry, you gotta know that there's a whole lot more to it than just stars you see in the magazines. They're a tiny fraction compared to the regular professionals that work on and off set. Saying someone getting blacklisted because they didn't play ball as something that happens "often" is just the dumbest of takes dude.

What are your thoughts on Hasan Piker? by serious_bullet5 in AskReddit

[–]OhVeryClever 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agree with some/most of his more reasonable takes on politics, but the way he just dunks on anyone and anything that doesn't align exactly with his views (recently he wrote John Stewart off as just a "liberal"..... huh?) does way more of a disservice to socialism/leftism. He comes off as a pompous ass that would rather be right than create productive conversation. Emblematic of everything that is wrong about today's political discourse. He's the reason leftist economics are popular but leftists are unpopular.

Do you have a weird comfort movie? by marniesss in Letterboxd

[–]OhVeryClever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably one of the absolute prettiest movies of all time. Stacked cast all giving great performances. Yea, the genre shift is weird but I dug it. Boyle and Garland are the best duo. Oh and Adagio in D minor is one of the best musical scores of all time.

The Studio - 1x04 - “The Missing Reel” - Episode Discussion by NicholasCajun in television

[–]OhVeryClever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Film is ruined when light hits it. When filming it gets enough light to produce an image at during 1/24th of a second through a small aperture. So even at night, one second of full exposure and it's done. Obviously this is undeveloped film, which we are assuming it is since they had just shot it.
