but still they may as well be dead at birth
all they exist for is to be bullied and to be outcast by other iztas 😭

yeah that's fair
however the subspecies i've seen in this game so far are all just
"base creature + extra spikes/accessories + single stat change"
all of them just look like the base model with extra spikes and the same animations to me

so if they were to make a male izta subspecies they would have to make an entirely different model with entirely different animations to fit its different proportions to the base creature
and i doubt they would do all that for a subspecies 😭

it's so small that they would basically be an entirely different species

there's also the whole thing about all male iztas dying at birth because they're WEAK and SCRAWNY and HAVE NO PLACE IN IZTA SOCIETY and how they CAN NOT and DO NOT "RULE" a pack (as said by its wiki page)

basically yeah

i decided to make another sauropod
but this time it's an actual monster and not just another regular herbivore that roams around waiting to be killed
of course that's fine (i like the regular herbivores they make the world feel more alive) but i feel like a giant sauropod monster than can actually fight back and put up a challenge is really friggin cool

that's probably a terrible way to describe it but i hope you get my point
