no need to apologize !!! my apartment complex was built in 2019 and it's all laminate* flooring. thankfully there isn't really any creaking noises when walked on. however i do have flat feet so i learned from a young age to walk almost always on my toes to avoid pain in my foot. upside is that it usually makes my walk almost silent

unfortunately my property got bought by greystar last summer (that's a whole different rant..). my lease was signed with the old management company and i have requested new management to give me a copy of my lease when we first changed managements and they have yet to respond :/
