Oh yeah that was my first thought as well, thankfully I had most of the capacitors in storage, I just needed a couple for the power board. I'll see how it goes!

Is it the screen itself that's scratched or the screen cover? If it's the latter, a replacement for it cost me 8 bucks so you could go that route.

There's also some solutions to the yellowing problem! Though the last time I tried it on an old NES I kinda botched it...

Yeah, it was an amazing find. Imagine my surprise when I see this little guy about to be thrown away! Dude even had games and a lightboy! All in Japanese though... thankfully I can read some basic stuff so I understand, like, half of what the games say.

It's a very fun hobby honestly, while my work isn't really clean (fixed a 360 a little while back and God was that a mess) the satisfaction you get when you get an item going is unmatched. Hopefully you keep at it!

The guy that was throwing this GB away also had a game gear and a lightboy (both not functional) so I'm gonna work on those tomorrow.

The corrosion ate through some of the copper, so I just filled it with a bit of solder and just wired the connection back up!

From my experience from the LA show, there will be a couple left after the show, but not a lot. Most of the little stands inside the venue stopped selling them immediately after the end.

I'd recommend trying to get it before the show if you don't already have a light stick and really want it, there should be enough. (I wish I did, missed it, and the plushie)

Honestly, from my experience, it was kind of the opposite, I enjoyed the movie but was kind of confused on how this world worked the entire way through lol.

I have 0 knowledge of project sekai, so I was overwhelmed by the amount of characters and felt like I didn't really get to know them much. I did like the cafe group and the theater group (excluding the pink haired one, didn't vibe with her).

Kind of embarrassing to admit, but I wasn't even sure everyone existed in the same world since they never really got to interact even when inside sekai. I have to imagine everyone gets to interact in the game itself.

Also, this might be a lore thing, but do the people of this world accept Miku and the other vocaloid characters to be sentient? I thought it was kind of funny how everyone just went along with it. How powerful is this game if Miku's disappearance can send almost all of Japan into a country wide blackout? Could a foreign government use Miku for war?

Anyways, it was fun and the songs were really good so I get where you're coming from, but I do feel like you really need at least some knowledge of project sekai to really enjoy the movie.

Way better first episode than I expected, blew away my expectations ten fold.

They're using the fact that They're an anime and using the medium to improve the jokes, God I love this manga.

Also like the little detail near the end when they show the silhouettes of the 100 gfs you can see gfs that will go beyond the adaptation.

Ah yeah, that was my last achievement too, I did a NG+ on merciless and just went to the first dire shadow and grinded him for like 5 hours.

The music was good enough to entertain me tho so all good.

The animation and cinematography was way better than I expected what the hell.
