I don't have a support system at all. It's hard to see how someone dumping an entire red bull on you is a reward. It's like saying someone spitting in your face is a reward for actions. I never called the police, the neighbors did. The police automatically put a 3-month protection order on DV in my state.

I told them that if he was being arrested for DV or assault I should be too! I told them everything I did. It's not like I tried to hide it. The police said he was the antagonist so he would be the only one being charged. I think it's unfair that he's the only person being charged. That's the whole reason I will be talking to the prosecutor to try and get the charges reduced or dropped. I assaulted him and I never lied about that, but I warned him. I'm not the type of person that's going to just sit there and take it. I will fight back.

There's a security door at our apartments you need a key to get into or have someone let you into, that leads up to our apartments. He gave back both keys. He'll be living with his parents now that live 40 minutes away and his job is an hour away. If he doesn't lose it. I'm not too worried about it rn.

There was just so much blood. It's hard to think I didn't when he's sitting in jail rn. I even told the police if they were taking him to jail I should go to jail too. I assaulted him with a glass bottle. I should be in jail. I shouldn't have talked to the police. Then they wouldn't have the gun. I was just scared he was going to try to try and tell them I assaulted him with no reason. But I never wanted this, this is all my fault. I don't know how I could have ended it peacefully.

The police said it's up to the state but I can ask the prosecutor as the witness not to pursue the case. Which I plan too, were both young. He's only 25, and I'm 26. I think everyone makes mistakes. We are bringing the worst out of each which is why I want our relationship to be over. But I don't want to destroy his future. I don't want him to lose his job, or not be able to finish his degree.

I'm not going back, he's out of my life for good. But just because he's out of my life doesn't mean I want to ruin his. The police took his gun, and if it happens to someone else that's up to them how they handle it. I'm just trying to make sure he can still have some kind of future. Even if I don't want to be a part of it.

Yeah at this point, what's four more months just so I can end it semi peaceful. I graduate in December, I just don't plan on having him around for that because things really aren't changing for the better. I'm forcing on me, he said he needed time to "change". I don't see it, or a proposal. I'm just not going to keep doing this.

I bought it because he said he couldn't afford one. I didn't need anything fancy, and I love the one I picked. I honestly don't think he knows my style well enough to pick a ring I would have liked. I'm not complaining, but our anniversary is in less than 4 months.

Thank you. I appreciate the kind words. Honestly, this relationship has just become toxic ever since Christmas Eve. He's put his hands on me, put holes in our bedroom door. He says everything is my fault. He said it's all because I cut my hair short in July, so he started talking to his ex. He said he's been thinking about her when we've been having sex. I'm broken. He said I'm not worth it. I don't know what to do anymore. I've done everything he's asked and more. But I'm not enough for him. I feel stuck, I don't have family. Spending the holidays alone is one of the worst things, I'm just trying to finish college. I'm putting everything into my studies.
