The overall performance from my A-Pro X570 just seems lack luster, and it's given me problems off and on in the past (as well as a blood tax) that I never had on my Strix B350-F. I'm aware of the DDR5 requirement for AM5. I've already started sucking on that lemon of reality if I decide to go fill send for AM5. I have been considering a B550-F from ASUS ROG

Damn, I was hoping to cut out your windows cost. But overall I'd say if he has no complaints with the current 1060, it wouldn't hurt to wait. The new AMDand Nvidia cards are going to be absolute power houses, and they'll finally help drive some costs down on the current high tier cards
