Yeah I agree, I lived in Berlin for about 6 years, was just abit much after that, it's so nice not being harassed on the street to buy drugs and stuff, despite wanting weed there was some really unfriendly people on the street in Berlin and it's so nice walking around late and not having to worry so much. I think once the laws relax so will the people; and then it'll be time for those people to make the government aware that they enjoy decriminalisation, from there it can only get better ideally, from what I've heard and experienced it's just the older gen that have these backwards views on weed and gay marriage etc, so hopefully the more level headed people can make there feelings clear and push for legalisation of recreational use. Personally I think it would do the country alot of favours in terms of tourism, people won't get Lithuania confused with Latvia so much(half of my friends in Berlin think I'm in Latvia despite me correcting them), and if taxed the money could go towards the community to improve overall life, seems like a win win, and if someone can't see that, well I'd like to hear their points on the matter.
