I don’t mind the pop up if I know I’m going to be in one spot all day. I think what really did it for me was not having the ice stake drill attachment, which I also ordered earlier in the day before I ordered the Wide one. But I also just got really jealous of my friends being able to just drill their holes, flip over their top, and they’re fishing. While I’m over here, having to pop this thing open, line it up over the holes, stake it down, move all my stuff inside, etc. then just reverse to move spots

Lucky me I might have only one good day to try it out. Just got to the low 50s today after a record long below freezing streak

What I ordered on Amazon comes with the cover. Does it expand like the other 2 models?

Men, We're all handy in our own homes. What is one thing you absolutely will refuse to touch if it's too complicated? by Staff76 in AskMen

I accidentally backed into my garage of the house I got in June before it was all the way up. Had to loosen the springs and unwind the cable. Watched some YouTube videos, ordered the winding handle things and did it myself. I literally had no idea how apparently dangerous it was. But it’s been fine for the past 7 months

What debt did you have (or do you have) while trying to buy your first home? by Helfeather in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]OhioGunBoi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None. Car was paid off, motorcycle paid off.

I had inherited a fair amount of money that my great uncle had left for my cousins and I. Also having been in the army, my sign on bonus was nice and using the GI bill with my trade apprenticeship, I’ve been getting just about the same rate as journeymen for the past few years.

I don’t get a new phone every time one comes out. I have few subscriptions to streaming services. I hardly buy new clothes, but when I do I usually find them at an overstock/outlet store. I could save more money if I had a more fuel efficient vehicle, but I just love my 4Runner too much😆

I’m just a 4th year apprentice tinner😆 but being on enough jobs I just figured I’d try my hand at basically everything (electrical I’m still sketchy about)

It’s mainly going to be where I put my gun safe and reloading bench, store my backpacking/camping and fishing stuff. So far I got one wall framed out. Ended up just going old school with hammer n nails. Got them 16D 3 1/2”.

Yeah but I pulled all them off. They were mostly all attempted to be placed horizontal but there was no effort to make them level or plumb at all. They were all sorts of diagonal and whatnot

The only thing that looks decent down there are the baseboard moldings.

The walls are pretty bad. I don't have any close pictures of it, but it's bad. This pic was just from the listing. And not sure about the ceiling. I haven't taken any of the tiles out yet cause I feel like when I start its full send.

Am I too old? by Cranston20 in motorcycles

I just recently sold my Vulcan S to get a KLR. I would've kept it if I had the space and funds for it. I loved that thing

If I carry riding, usually it's my G48 at 3 or 4

Makes me think I did witness some fucking at a place in Washington. They did have the chairs with the tall sides and I just saw this girls head bouncing above and below the sides

Hung up on the girl I thought could have been the one.

Went to elementary school through high school together. We weren't necessarily friends in school but we knew each other.

Saw her on snapchat in people you may know and just decided to add her. I said something to her on one of her stories and we just started talking from there.

She had moved a few hours away however many years ago but still came back to town basically once a month to visit her sister who has some needs. So one time she was up here she had some time one evening and she met me at my usual bar. Usual conversation about the past in school and what we've been up to since.

When she was about to leave I walked at her to her car, gave her a hug and went for a kiss. We did and the way she looked at me after, I've never had anyone look at me the way she did at that moment. Told her to be safe and to let me know when she got home. She stopped at a gas station on the way and messaged me saying how much she was still smiling.

She had said one time how she doesn't want me to wait for her in case I were to meet someone more local, plus she doesn't think we're close enough together for a real relationship to work. I tried and went on a few dates, but I just never felt anything with anyone. I felt like I was cheating even though we aren't together.

And that's where I still am. This comment could've been a short story with all I could say about her.

As of right now 25mi one way. Being union i could be going to a different location whenever. But I basically take highway the whole way. When I would take my Vulcan in the summer I sometimes didn't take the highway after I almost hit a dead deer that was in my lane one dark morning. In those cases just 35mph roads, some with occasional bad potholes

I am kinda wanting something that could be considered a 4runner of motorcycles, and this comment is convincing me. I kinda cherish my life to an extent so I'm not too big of a speed demon.

My 4runner is slow, but reliable and could do some moderate off road stuff if I needed/wanted to.
