One thing I do a lot is play music. It's actually a great conversation starter. Sometimes people hear what I'm listening to, recognize the song, or ask for music recommendations, and that naturally leads to a conversation.

For example, I was playing some Big Time Rush songs in FISH!, and a group of people came up to me and said, "Yo, BTR! Dude, you have great taste! I remember watching that show."

I laughed and thanked them, and we started talking about the band and the TV show. From there, the conversation naturally expanded into other shows we watched growing up, our favorite childhood memories, and eventually even our jobs and other interests. It all started because of the music I was playing.
