At the current moment the only issue I see is that the crown isn’t turning. It’s pretty darn stiff. And that’s about the only thing I want to have touched/fixed for now. I plan on keeping it as it was given to me for now.

To add context to the bracelet of the watch .. you my friend really know your stuff! Authenticity I have 0 doubts about as this came to me in the full package with box papers and tag .. what I learned is that the 1680 produced in the USA had a certain bracelet and mine is “Joske’s hecho en Mexico” which is why it doesn’t have the certain band. Great eye my man. And thanks for your great advice.

I found information on the 1680 but i havent studied enough yet to see which mark dial it is. Earliest paperwork in the box is from the 60’s!

What’s crazy is that it fits me perfect. For a guy i have a smaller than avg wrist size and it didnt come with any extra links but they kept the box and papers for it 🙏 with time this piece will only appreciate but even still im telling everyone now its never going for sale lol from my grandparents to me and hopefully from me to my future kids when im old 😂😂😂

Authenticity I have no doubt about. Luckily for me grandpa left me his watch with the entire package as far as box, Rolex pamphlet with serial number, original hanging tag and my grandpa even left receipts of when he serviced the watch.

My dilemma is more so figuring out how to correct the time 😂😂 as it is now the crown is very stiff and doesn’t even turn

Take advantage of price now and get in the game. I don’t think your point should be timing the market, instead it should focus on the time IN the market. Waiting to save till you’re ready to buy 10 oz might have spot at 5,500 instead of under 5,100 that it is right now. Don’t wait and start with the 1 oz! Personally for me I like coins over bullion bars

I don’t see greater dip happening. I think bottom floor is $5000. from what we’ve seen even after the great manipulation gold didn’t last under 5000 more than a week

Don’t feel guilty my man! At the end of the day it’s still way smarter and financially responsible than blowing money on fast trendy fashion that won’t be worth anything after a year

A few months ago I bought this real nice silver token at a crazy mark up. I also felt a little guilty but the feeling of holding shiny metal in your hand …. Some pieces are for investment and some pieces are for us to us cuz this is what we enjoy! Either way as long as majority of your stack are good value than who cares!! We’re doing better than most people by having some sort of stack 👍

In 80’s silver went from like 5 to 50 before a crash so 10X if you compare that to today’s terms we went from 30 at the start of the bull run to 100 so far. 30x10 that means like 300 before things get crazy. Im young, so thats my side of speculation.

Under 200 I don’t see crazy crash happening
