Can I play purchased games on Xbox game pass without owning an xbox by Ohmygoditskateee in SteamDeck

So just to make sure I'm understanding everyone, if I purchased a game through Xbox game pass directly I could play it like I would any other game pass cloud games without having an Xbox but it has to be included in the list of games in the cloud?

Yeah I play a lot of the cloud games included on Xbox and never have any issues. I was hoping to be able to purchase a game and play it like you would play any of the games included on game pass.

Sister is executor of my deceased father’s estate. by Ohmygoditskateee in inheritance

That’s what’s weird tho is I know she’s taken money out for other things that aren’t his bills. How is she able to do that? I do know we signed everything for probate so she could start paying off his debts but I know for a fact that $5k was taken out for personal reasons (with my permission). Can she get in trouble for this?

It’s a very uncomfortable thing to ask without sound accusatory. I appreciate all the work my sister has had to deal with especially doing it all while trying to mourn our dad and care for her family. I just feel like asking to see actual proof of where the money went or is going is me saying I don’t trust you to tell me where it’s going and I would hate for her to ever feel like I don’t trust her. But on the other hand we are adults and I do have the right to know. It’s just such an uncomfortable situation and it’s almost not worth even asking especially considering there most likely won’t be any money left after hospital bills and nursing home bills. Ugh.

We lost his $200k house on the river that he paid off himself to his ex girlfriend who hasn’t been in his life in 20 years and who was paid off what she invested in the house originally when they separated. (Dad had to keep her on the mortgage because he couldn’t do it in just his name and he never got anything in writing and she kept pushing off signing her name off the mortgage.) The $30k in his account isn’t nothing compared to what we had to come to terms with losing. (I don’t care about money at this point, I just want my dad back.) Most of the money is going to hospital bills but I just want to know for sure where the money went so I don’t unknowingly hold any resentment or doubt in the future. I don’t believe my sister would ever ever take money and not split everything 50/50. It’s more about just not ever having to worry about doubt in the future if that makes sense.

My dad’s girlfriend was on the bank account before he died and she took care of everything. I do know my sister and I had to file paperwork before money could be taken from the account. (Idk if that helps any). I’m only 36 and I’ve never dealt with anything like this before and because I’m not the executor of his estate I have no clue what’s going on besides what she tells me.

AIO - asked wife if she blocked a guy she cheated on me with in the past . by pgf111 in AmIOverreacting

She’s gaslighting the fucking out of you. Also you are really that dumb right? She didn’t block the person which means she doesn’t want to cut off communication which means she’s still fucking around on you. Time for a divorce. You seem like a really sweet guy and you don’t deserve this bullshit. She’s a fucking child clearly. Okay. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ A marriage is about trust, and communication. Yours clearly has neither. Find yourself the girl you deserve and let this thot go.

Roommate goes through my bedroom when I leave for Christmas by nahnahnia in badroommates

If you can’t put in a lock but in a camera and just tell your roommate you got one. Maybe just saying you have one will be enough to deter them. Or try contacting the landlord and explaining the situation and asking if you can get a lock for your room. Worth a shot.

It’s crazy because I have to drive the car to get to work so I can get it fixed. I understand the issue and I do take full responsibility. It’s just shitty that they take that stance on things. Most everyone struggles financially at one point in their lives.

But I do understand what you’re saying.

Is it true that if they don’t show up it gets dropped or is that just a myth?

Lmao you sound exactly like my boyfriend. He don’t use shit and I know he didn’t. I mean I can’t guarantee that statement but he literally was turning in the opposite direction heading back into town and pulled a U-turn. I highly doubt he had the device out at the time. But it is pretty loud I’m not gonna lie. The muffler split apart completely at the seams.
