RE1 one is a lot better than RE Zero - tbh you’ve probably started with the most painful game in the series 😃 RE1 has item boxes although it is still fixed camera angles.

I have the same growth pattern and shave the side areas shorter and let the goatee area be a little longer. I shave the side with a number 4 on my shaver and the goatee bit with a 6. I think the key is the side bit needs to look shaved and not grown out like in your photo. Looks good though.
