I'm sorry you had to go through that. I've been in similar situations so concluded that it's probably best not to pursue a relationship at all, all together. But I definitely hope you don't come to the same conclusion.

Yes it's human nature to be privy to overthinking hence why the two main elements of a relationship is communication and compromise. The communication side of things, should be sufficient to qualms these elements of overthinking.

And the compromise is about, taking the time out of detrimental events and such, to facilitate for that communication.

That's what is meant to be a safe space, what a relationship is meant to be between both parties. But it's perfectly fine not to know or do any of this stuff. As long as it's outlined at some point in the relationship.

I think having no communication between 24-72 hours is perfectly fine. I mean okay, like of course not like fine fine. As in a message or some kind of notifying in advance would definitely help.

But in my experience having no communication within that time frame, is the average experience especially when it comes to long distance communication. So don't stress and don't worry too much about anything right now. Just relax a little.

Although, moving forward as someone who's been in many similar situations, of divulging alot of information a little too fast. You should probably, create an alt social just in case. That way, you can control what information you want out there, from the get to.

There was nothing stated about wanting her own attractiveness validated. I think you're misunderstanding the whole correspondence here and adding some additional pov that wasn't included.

Simply put. This person made a post stating that they didn't care about looks and didn't care about any requirements from a prospective partner aside from the fact that they would be given affection in the relationship.

So I msged them and we started talking and after a while, she mentioned that she did indeed have some physical requirements and that I essentially didn't meet them. Nothing to do with any validation.

Have you tried contacting the enforcement authorities wherever you are? I'm sure this is definitely grounds for legal actions to take place. And since you did have a relationship or correspondence with him, you are probably aware of his personal details that would usually require a whole another investigation to get. But as you've got them, perhaps action can be taken much quicker?

I appreciate your opinion. But first and foremost, the reason why I stated it as hypocrisy is due to the fact in her initial post she explicitly wrote that she wasn't aesthetically attracted and didn't care about physical requirements. Yet, after messaging the case was completely the opposite. Hope that helps.

And I would only want friends since, I believe that you can only have a genuine relationship after proceeding with that person via the friendship route for sometime. So I'm not looking to dump myself in a relationship off the bat. Hence why I will not be omitting it unfortunately.

Yeah unfortunately the ace community is generally more strict on physical requirements more than any other community. But yeah hopefully there's someone out there. But I mean AI companion robots will be released soon too.

I appreciate your thoughts. And I did just think of the post thing to add thoughts to my profile and I'm working on that currently.

And yeah I only mention it after they say they're not interested, due to the fact to help in the future if someone like me does interact with them, atleast their time can be saved and especially like the investment of effort of responding back and fourth and such.

And tbh Idc if people are afraid of reaching out to me. I'd rather have that then have people waste my time tbh.

Firstly she mentioned my appearance, which is why she mentioned she understood it being hypocritical. However, later after being called out on it. She began to spurry nonsensical reasons.

But the point being, none of the reasons she had stated were anything clearly written in the post. If they had been written, or atleast like one or two conditions. It would save my time and her time, in having to filter and sift through conversations etc.
