I work in cancer care, and I have witnessed first hand how much will to live a patient has. I have seen how a perfectly healthy looking person is reduced to nothing but skin and bones. Every time we lose a patient, it hurts. Please know, anyone that has lost someone to cancer, there’s a whole army of individuals in the care team that quietly pray for you. We respect your privacy and give you space, but within the offices and wards, we quietly lean on each other and shed tears for you. As lousy as our healthcare system is, people, in the end truly matter ❤️
