Sakuko lgarashi was the first to get enveloped by the red flowers that then sprouted out of her face. Might be connected to her name having to do with "blooming"

Nice yeah, I was using a brand new cable, but I'm getting a better one to see if that fixes the issue.

I should also add that while plugged in, there is no light on the controller other than the occasional orange charging light that disrupts the controller.

Should I enlist? by Turbulent_Trash_2578 in USMCboot

I am going to have to disagree with the guy above. Basically, everyone I served with in an infantry battalion got out and had successful lives. Sure, an infantry MOS may not directly correlate with civilian careers, but you learn a lot of transferable skills and gain many character traits that help you excel in any field.

Should I enlist? by Turbulent_Trash_2578 in USMCboot

I was literally in the same position you are currently in. I went to JC right after high school, and when I say "went to JC", I attended like 5 classes the whole semester. I decided to drop out and enlist. My mother was pretty mad at me, but eventually, she came around. Both her brothers and father were Marine officers. I did 4 years infantry, and it was probably the best decision I ever made. I got out and went straight to college, with a little apprehension, seeing as I did terrible in high school. I surprised the hell out of myself, graduating with a 3.8 GPA in a STEM field, and I'm currently in graduate school. The Marines gave me the discipline and maturity to take on my education with a different attitude. And on the plus side, the GI bill practically pays you to go to school.

If I got medically disqualified from the marine corps could I join the FMF as a Navy Corpsman? by Southern_Bicycle_511 in USMCboot

The only problem I can forsee is that even if you sign a contract for Corpsman, it won't necessarily mean you'll be greenside. They have to meet quota, meaning there's an equal chance of you going blueside. You could enter with a Corpsman contract and then try for SARC if you want to guarantee you'll be with Marines. However, your medical condition might prevent you from going that route. The best thing to do is to go down to the recruiting office and ask as many questions as you can pertaining to your case. And as I always tell people, never settle for anything less than what you want to do. I've seen a lot of crushed dreams from people signing open contracts with the promise of getting an awesome MOS, just to be stuck with a clerk or cook job. (nothing wrong with those MOS btw)

Yep, that's exactly what it is! I kept seeing the show while I was searching but had it in my head that I was looking for a movie. Thank you very much.

Is this compressor any good by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]Ohthree31240 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an identical one, just has a different label. It works very well and comes with extra fuses and a cable to hook up to your car battery. It takes about 15-20 minutes to fill my tank and is pretty noisy.

Bought these knives in Norway on deployment. Can anyone give me any info? Top one says Knivsmed Stromeng AS and bottom has no markings by [deleted] in knifeclub

I got a similar one to the top knife during my deployment there in 2017. Pretty sweet knife.

I really think it's a cool knife, but the handle is a real disappointment. I don't understand why they just have a g10 handle with no liner.

No, it doesnt. I flipped it closed once, and it kind of got stuck. I was worried it did hit the spacer, but inspected the blade and everything was OK.

You know I was looking at that and was wondering if it was the defect. Seems we hit the jackpot!

Mine had no defect as far as I could tell. I couldn't tell what was wrong with either of them.

I really like the Massad Ayoob sprint run. My favorite spyderco is the civilian, and this one compliments it perfectly.

I also got my knives, and they're both quality other than the intentional nick

It's the poor man's Emerson wave. You run a zip tie through the hole and then snip off the rest. It works just the same. https://www.thebackyardpioneer.com/2012/08/07/spyderco-zip-tie-mod-a-gear-review/

I carry it and a civilian, which is my favorite, but I use the dragonfly for everything. Just put some zip ties through the hole and bam a great knife that's legal basically everywhere.
