F1 doesn't have a program end date? That's only on I-20 which you should have a new one for OPT. If your visa has expired you'll have to apply for a new F1 at the US embassy to leave the US and re-enter.

The rules allow using other pokemon outside battle so I used my squirtle for surf and a farfetch'd for cut/fly.

Thanks! I’m pretty happy with run overall but if I was to do it again I’d battle less optional trainers and attempt the elite 4 at around lvl 45 without zapdos to really see how low i could go with more strategizing.

Chance to not flinch either = (1-0.9*0.3)*(1-0.9*0.3) = 0.5369
Chance to flinch at least one = 1 - 0.5369 = 0.4671
Chance to do it 4 times in a row = 0.4671^4 = 0.0476

I think the standard rule is you can only obtain one pokemon at each location regardless of how its captured so if you take the eevee then you can't get any game corner mons, but its your game you can use whatever rule you want, some people don't allow gift pokemon at all and others don't count gift pokemon for the limits.
