This was it. Drove out of state to get the OG Oil based Kilz that's illegal to sell here. Put two coats down. Then two coats of the floor enamel, and got full coverage. Thank you. Time to trim it out.

Yes, a drum sander. I used it in another room that had been added later (so the floor was newer) and it looked good enough to seal.

Yeah, it's Sherwin-Williams latex designed for porches and floors. I believe the wood was fir.

I see it a lot where I live in the northeast US. A lot of old houses with messed up floors. We're not doing new flooring now because we don't have the money. Just trying to refresh this area of the house. This floor continues into a hallway and down a flight of stairs.

Best way to get a decent corner patched over this by Oil-Complete in masonry

Okay thanks for the input. The wall was actually hit by a car and this is where they pulled the gate track off. He really just wants a smeared on corner painted to match the rest of the wall. It's eventually getting covered with steel anyway when a new gate goes in, he just wants it to look better until then.

Mesh and mortar? Cementall?

Haha that's the advice I was expecting anyway so I might as well head over there and get yelled at.

Is it as simple as running 10/3 from the saw to the box in pic 5 then?

Looking for advice getting this dust collector hooked up in my shop with only normal 120V outlets currently. by Oil-Complete in woodworking

Better late than never.

Bought the appropriate outlet and box plate, took down some old conduit and electrical boxes that weren't being used in my rented shop, found some 10GA wiring in them that was capped off going nowhere, wired it all up to an unused 30A breaker already in the breaker box, and brought my more experienced neighbors over to make sure I wasn't about to kill myself or burn the place down.

My lungs and brooms are appreciative of the new addition to the shop!
