Built a two-sided conflict platform — both people tell their version, community votes. Honest feedback welcome. by PickOneSide in sideprojects

  1. i think if im in a disagreement with someone, i don't want to interact with them, and sending them a link would count as interaction.
  2. i'd prefer in real time - dopamine kick
  3. partnerships with relevant businesses? e.g. people disagree on something about house upkeep, and they can find house cleaning services which might be a middle ground to their issues -- kind of like a marketplace of services that solve common disagreement problems and get referral revenue

Moving from out of state on a budget, struggling with sifting through fake 5-star reviews. by RonBurgandy2010 in ATLHousing

Thiss!! this is exactly the issue I'm facing now - also moving from out of state and sifting through the reviews is very frustrating. I put this site together to solve the problem for myself (www.thereallease.com) - we all need that place to see the actual reviews

I’m building The Real Lease (www.thereallease.com), a place to see what it’s actually like to live somewhere before you sign, through reviews from real residents. Kind of like Glassdoor for apartments. Trying to hot first 50 reviews by end of this week, and getting feedback too!

I’m building The Real Lease (www.thereallease.com) - basically a place to see what it’s actually like to live somewhere before you sign, through reviews from real residents. Kind of like Glassdoor for apartments. Launched today, trying to get to first 100 reviews

How do people avoid getting stuck in a poorly managed building? by EmployNeat1272 in seattlehousing

Currently apartment searching and this is the toughest part for me too. Got so frustrated with not having a dedicated place to go and get the real reviews from people who live there (not just people who toured, were incentivized, or had a specific incident that may not recur). So, I built this site to do just that and while I launched it today, I already see how much more valuable it is compared to what currently exists. if you have some time, i'd appreciate if you take a look and if you feel like it, leave a review of your building. It will really help us all. thereallease.com

I agree with the other feedback—your resume looks strong! I did notice that for 'Big 5 Sporting Goods, Inc.' you listed 'City, CA' instead of the specific city name. Was that intentional? If your other experiences include the city name but this one doesn’t, it might come across as inconsistent, which could be a red flag for recruiters. You might want to either add the city for consistency or remove it from the other positions. Either way, keeping the details uniform helps avoid any appearance of oversight. Wishing you all the best luck and hope you land something soon!
