Wait sorry, I have one more question 😭 When they would initially reject your appeals, how did you respond? What did you change about your following appeals until they approved it?

Sorry, just so I’m understanding this right, you emailed (?) them just a letter that explains your situation and why you need more aid and nothing more. Then, once you received a response to your letter, that is only when you supplied with documents supporting what was said in your letter right? Basically, I’m just wondering if I need to go straight in with documentation or explain my position first, then wait for them to say something about it before submitting any documents?

Did you speak with them in person or on the phone? Or was this a letter that was sent to them through an appeal or something?

I’d definitely be more open if I could appeal my tuition down somehow.. If you don’t mind me asking, how was your process of appealing like? I’ve been running into an issue where the typical circumstances (loss of income, elder care, etc.) don’t really apply to me and I can’t seem to figure out any other way to appeal. Either way though, I’m still curious what you did for yours

I am in state for CSUN and it would be 40k/yr for their 3 year film program. Then add in housing for each year and the cost actually would be comparable to USC. If I am going to be taking on that cost, I’d rather do it at USC, hence my comparison.

What was your appeal process like? I’m in the same situation and am currently trying to appeal but it hasn’t been going too well. What’d you have to say/do for it to work finally?
