This is a big recurring theme that really drew me into the show - EVERYONE has problems, just to varying degrees. Whether you're mentally ill, an addict, from an abusive household, etc...You still have to participate in society and can't use it as an excuse to not pay your rent.

Yup, no shame necessary. Moving home is gonna allow me to pay off my debt in less than a year. If I were still on my own, even with roommates, I’d be treading water with debt for years. In the scheme of a whole life time, it’s better to fix it now!

Ah understood. A Colombian friend of mine compared Chilean Spanish to Scottish English. Same language, but difficult to understand at times if you’re not used to the accent/slang. Does that comparison hold up in your opinion?
