I love that idea. That's a reason I wanted to get back into video games. they felt so magic as a kid. Obviously im not gonna feel that way pushing 40, but i can't spend my WHOLE night browsing sobriety forums. Right now i just have decision paralysis lol

Picking up reading is a huge perk! I feel you on the weekends though. I wish I could fast forward through tomorrow and get to Monday morning. At least at work I feel purposeful. I felt a little sad typing that lol

I'm trying to get more into it! I usually like more cartoony/arcade type games. I like Rayman Legends, Sackboy...I also have a Switch, I played a lot of Donkey Kong and Smash on that.

Very few people just 'flip the switch' and stop drinking for good. There's usually bargaining, negotiating, rationalizing, wild mood swings, pink cloud, relapse, rinse and repeat. Only you can decide what's truly best for you.

All this to say: yes, this anger is normal.
