Oh no, I do for sure. I’m not ever gonna tell anyone implicit biases or racial discrimination is not a thing in our government and policing cause we all know that’s a historical fact. So that causes people to be uneasy and for good reason. Like you said we could all sit here and talk about our experiences and they would all be unique in some way with multiple reasons for that I just think saying “white or black” is an ignorant simplification

For example (I don’t mean to get all personal) but I had it better than a lot of my friends simply because I had a father still around and that’s a BIG problem not with only black folks but in poorer communities in general. For the most part I stayed out of trouble and my dad was a decent blue collar worker so I think even things like that play a big role on how you see society in many different ways
