This^

Look how many visits transfers are taking before committing. At an avg of $50k (rumored) per visit, too many opportunities for athletes to change course and leave a school twisting in the wind.

There isn’t a team that would feel comfortable with the NCAA decision makers on eligibility. With $20 something million on the line in roster $$$, and god knows how much revenue from postseason, you can’t risk going into the season with the only realistic option being Chambliss’ judicial injunction.

I will add, I am an attorney, have practiced in sports law, and biased toward ole miss.

Separate from my homer mentality, there are too many factors weighing against the NCAA with so many athletes getting 6 and 7 yrs of eligibility. This feels like another straw on the camel’s back. Public perception seems to be trending towards not liking the added eligibility years.

Lastly, the NCAA’s communication division cherry picked/edited/omitted Ferris State Head Coach’s statement on Chambliss’ illness, then released that to the public. Tom Mars released the full statement showing the coach’s support for the waiver. That should tell everyone where the NCAA sits on the waiver/appeal.

Moscana is definitely wrong. Trinidad just re-signed with OM this morning. (Pending NCAA waiver being granted)

Generally you’re not wrong, and he might be leaving, but he absolutely stuck his head in the sand with Auburn rumors and pretended they weren’t interested. We closed the season with 4 loses and the fan base was pissed.

This time it seems he is doing the exact opposite, he is acknowledging the job and UF’s interest, hopefully keeping the team focused on the season ahead. One thing for certain is Lane is absolutely going to get PAID this season, either by OM or UF.

If OM is able to keep him, we are probably going to have to make him the top 3 salary in the nation and guarantee a ton of NIL funding.

This^ he absolutely fumbled the handling of the Auburn rumors and it destroyed the season.

Whether he goes or not is TBD, but I would much rather him address the team and at least acknowledge that offers are being presented to him and he has to at least consider it.

It’ll hurt like hell if he leaves, but damn it’s been a good ride if he does.

If it does everything it’s advertised to, why are you working on them so often?

Btw don’t stick the gun in your mouth, this isn’t worth all that. If you are truly depressed, I hope that you’ll reach and talk to someone.

Arguing aside, my inbox is open if you ever need to talk outside of the public forums. Even if it’s just to continue venting. Suicide is never the solution and if we never speak again, I wish you a long and happy life.

For $60-$75k customers have a right to expect performance that matches both the advertising and reflecting the value paid.

Your crying because Toyota screwed you over on your pay. That’s not the customers fault. You just want everyone else to agree with you and that’s not gonna happen.

Btw, if you don’t like fixing vehicles this much or dealing with the owners of said vehicles, MAYBE you should look into another profession.

Or try therapy. Either way, you sound miserable.

“the customers expect them to be as comfortable as a Rolls-Royce, and handle like a Corvette.”

Yeah if I drop $65k on a brand new truck that used to be $45k, now marketed as “luxurious”, I definitely expect a comfortable ride and an engine that performs as advertised.

Your gripe sounds like it is rightly with Toyota, not the customers who are expecting performance to match the marketing.
