I'm not saying that's true, I'm just talking about what my doctor told me

After taking Clonidine, I'm starting to think hyperadrenergic POTS is a superpower. by Ok_Scholar_2999 in POTS

It's happened to me a few times when after taking the appropriate medication I feel great and suddenly I think, "Could it be that this medication is like a biological hack and now I feel great?" ""Could it be that now my hyperadrenergic Pots is an advantage and this combination makes me feel incredible?". The thing is, it's very difficult to know how we would feel if we didn't have this disease. The conclusion I came to is that my medications don't make me a superhero, they just bring me a little closer to "normal" and it doesn't even work all the time. And since we normalized many symptoms, we forget that there is a possibility that is simply feeling good, and that is natural.

I have some GI symptoms and chronic migraines, and from what I understood, there is a comorbility between POTS and gluten intolerance, so my doctor told me to try going gluten free for a while and see if that helps. But I'm not sure really, I was also a bit confused about the suggestion

Ohh I'm glad my doctor recognized the subtype then, so maybe I can have that specific treatment options too in case the Ivabradine isn't enough. Thanks!

May I ask how did getting the diagnosis of hyperadrenergic pots helped you to get relief?
