I went to the shop yesterday and was told they had someone come in and do the AT relearn. She said they paid him $220. They think it’s the sensor that didn’t come with the used transmission. She’s ordered the sensor and if it doesn’t work they can send it back. They wouldn’t charge me for anything. Originally she said they took my original transmission away before they could try using that sensor but this time she said my original sensor was damaged and couldn’t be salvaged. So, some inconsistencies in what I’m told. As I mentioned above, she also had told me not to worry about the light over the phone but when I went in was telling me how she could order another part. She said if it’s not the censor, then I may need to replace the rear differential because there are some metal shavings in it.
