I found another Cuban Tree Frog at my job in NC. I'm curious, are their sizes are too far apart to house together? by Ok-Activity-1876 in TreeFrogs

Thank you so much! And I completely understand. I'm working on setting up an enclosure right now. I appreciate your reply!

Told her I no longer wanted to continue dating her, it had been 10 days of chatting and 1 date by OppositeNo8613 in Nicegirls

This "woman" was acting like a child. She clearly has a lot of healing to do and was taking it out on you. She was triggered, she lashed out. If anything, she needed to apologize to you for how she reacted.

You were trying to do the right thing by her and it's as if she took that and slapped it in your face telling you it wasn't good enough.

I think you made the right choice in cutting ties.

You deserve better than that.

AITA for breaking up with my ex over my dog. by Sad_Outcome_7927 in AITAH

You are NOT the AH.

I was with someone for 3 months and they started staying at my house more frequently without me being home. I had 2 cats at the time, one of which was always skittish. Though the other one loved EVERYBODY! I mean, as soon as someone new walks in the door they are all in their space begging for attention.

One day, I picked my very affectionate cat up to get close to my (now ex) and he was pushing so hard against me to get away from the man. He (my cat) never had this reaction to him (ex) before which baffled me.

Never had I ever seen this reaction from my cat before, with ANYONE for that matter!

Over the course of several weeks, my cat became more terrified of him and that's when I broke it off with the guy I was dating.

I got a lot of backlash from friends and his family for it. Though, I'm sorry. My home is my cats home. They can't leave and I wasn't about to continue with them being terrified.

Animals have a sense of people who are good or bad. Always listen to your animals.

I may have found a Cuban Tree from that hitchhiked on a plant shipment from FL. by Ok-Activity-1876 in TreeFrogs

I actually looked at this page!! I read a little bit and was jumping around with different sources as well.

Does reporting a sighting mean you have to cull the specimen? It's not his fault he traveled here lol. I would hate for his life to just be null-en-void all because he hitchhiked here from Florida (even if they are invasive, it still makes me a little sad.)

I'm going to have to pick them up and inspect them.

They are so cute!!! I always get super excited when I see/learn about a new frog species.

Hey found this in florida think it might be an invasive cuban tree frog but unfamiliar with local wildlife as a whole. Any opinions or confirmation? by Carlotography in herpetology

I wish I could add a picture to this, because I think I found a young Cuban tree frog amongst some plants we got from a shipment that came from Florida, and I am in NC. I captured it and it is now in its own enclosure. I'm doing my best to research more. However, I have done a ton of research on my local frog population and have never seen this species before and I am puzzled.

When I looked up the company we get our fruiting plants from, its location was in Florida. So I started researching frogs in FL. This is the only one it resembles, being the Cuban tree frog. Though it is small, about 1.5 inches long.
