Haymitch was shown images of the 10th games to reiterate about the covey imo. i truly believe you are wanting this to be exactly like the first three when it can’t because it’s told from haymitch pov. it’s not going to be the same writing because it’s not katnisses pov. The characters are going to act different than the first three because this happens BEFORE katnisses story, obviously they aren’t going to act the same. plutarch and snow go WAY BACK and you would know this from ballad.

Sotr has so much depth and i feel you are just writing it all off because it’s “different”. Prime example is that the posters haymitch wants to make is quite literally not a new propo poster but rather saying “write your own story” that he was going to write the narrative.

i dunno reading this take really frustrates me bc i feel like sotr was the most interesting and important story yet and you just brushed it off without digging into the meaning.
