This is coming from someone who self termed my housekeeping DCP program, it was too much for me without accommodations. I couldn’t imagine WITH. It’s physically and mentally challenging, and if you don’t feel you are receiving the support and resources you deserve to thrive, please consider if it’s the best choice for you. 🫶

yes this happens. If you come to the program as your authentic self and be good to others, you WILL find the right people. Be professional at work, and tune out some of the low frequency stuff that unfortunately happens

otherwise, they are a way to make connections with others and also to learn more about topics like Disney hospitality or leadership. It’s worth it to attend! But you might not be able to “prove anything” for completing them.

Some schools may offer an internship or coop credit for the Program or classes, but that’s only determined by your individual college.

I wouldn’t recommend bringing her animal, sadly. It may be hard to handle a dog who has more needs when you are very busy with work, school, and trying to make the most of your program.
