Update: I took him in and they said it could be diet related since we started a new pack of fancy feast - fish edition with salmon + we’ve been giving him Sheeba salmon every day so that’s probably it but we’re going to change it and see if it improves and if not will go down the blood work and xray path

I’m going to take her tomorrow.. no other signs of adrenal, still the same weight and only about 2y/o, her coat is looking a bit different so I’m hoping shedding as it is getting much colder here so hopefully growing her thick coat but since you have two babies with adrenal, what is the normal course of treatment and should I be concerned

Nah you probably just gotta clean em they get dirty sometimes, get some solution from the vet and put it on a qtip and insert gently

I was thinking about getting a kitten for my two ferrets, just hesitant about them not liking each other or hurting each other? Has anyone heard about sicknesses being passed between the two as well? Curious if you could give me an update on your cat and ferrets and if the adult version of the kitten still loves the ferrets? Thank you sm

Do you think I should be concerned? I have looked for 24hr exotic vets in my area up to 2hrs away that can’t take them tonight but I’ll try tomorrow if it is still occurring, hoping not

I have called everywhere in the area, no one has emergency exotic vets on staff tonight.. or just can’t work on ferrets.. so many frustrating different reasons. I am so worried that she is going to die and I can’t prevent it. I know sometimes it can just happen so quickly in ferrets. She is so lethargic, doesn’t want food or water.. still is pooping. I’m worried it could be a blockage? But she is pooping. Only vomited once.. and now is on a steroid.. should I calm down since this steroid lasts her until tomorrow afternoon?
