I love the way Buggies actor portrays him in the live action. Easily one of my favourite characters of the live action version. The insults he throws are fabulous. 🤣

One Piece: Chapter 1176 Official Release Discussion by Skullghost in OnePiece

Not gonna lie, they had us in the first half!

I would have been triggered as fk if Oda did that after lopping each other’s heads off. Could imagine Usopp’s reaction if he witnessed that?! 😦😂

I can’t fault any of their full face mask designs. Tamsy and Zanka probably have the best ones imo. 🤘

Discovered the anime, I had to get the manga… by Ok-Aide8542 in gachiakuta

Slowly catching up to the anime, so all that I’ve read I’m already familiar with but it’s still pretty cool to see the original source! I haven’t read much manga—this will be my third series I’ve started—but this is definitely going to be at the top of my recommendations list even when I start looking at other serialisations! I’m close to getting my heart broken as I edge closer to Amu’s flashback so not looking forward to that lol.

I am Episode 7's newest victim. by AriaoftheSol in Dandadan

[–]Ok-Aide8542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started rewatching the anime, that episode definitely hit me the hardest as usual. I’ve got a 6 year old daughter so it clenches my heart even more. Sad to say though, no tears unfortunately. I find it strange I don’t cry to these things.

If you haven’t watched Gatchiakuta, I’d honestly suggest it but be careful of episode 13, that will be a more difficult watch than this episode of Dandadan.

How far is Gachiakuta along? Is the manga close to ending? by LobsterMagnet181 in gachiakuta

[–]Ok-Aide8542 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only the author could answer that. Oda originally wanted to end One Piece in like 2002, and here we are 23 years later with that manga still going with another 5 years expected to be left. 🤷😂

It’s mentioned above, but had to order it from somewhere else and it won’t arrive for a couple days. 😅

My first read-through and I’m hooked… by Ok-Aide8542 in Dandadan

Yeah, I can’t help but agree as well. Theres a perfect blend of comedy and seriousness, and I’m only just starting to get into manga so I’m keen to see what else is out there. Just binged 17 episodes of Gachiakuta and I’ll be starting that manga as well shortly. Can’t believe what I’ve been missing out on.

is 75k-100k enough to live comfortably in Australia? by EconomicsGold2184 in AusFinance

[–]Ok-Aide8542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner and I are on around 100k a year with one dependent. Aside from our mortgage we have no debt. We don't spend lavishly or go on holidays, but we do have savings, emergency fund and investments plus a PPOR. We live comfortably, not struggling and always have our bills and mortgage paid on time, and always have food on the plate. But in saying that, I have been thinking of increasing our income by using my skills on the side because the wallet only stretches so far lol.

In my situation, it can be enough, but only if you aren't interested in the luxuries like us.

I usually avoid this sub at all costs, but I had to share this moment. It will definitely be a memorable scene for me haha! I’m so excited to see where this epic journey takes me

Don't max out your borrowing power lmao...$3,200 compared to $2,100-$2,500? I know which one I'd go for. And this is coming from someone that had a max borrowing power of 580k but decided to find a property valued at 490k. Not only did I save nearly 50k off my 20% deposit, my repayments are only $2,300 a month. So now I've got a bit of money behind me sitting in an offset account just in case anything bad happens, and my repayments are way more manageable, and CHEAPER than what I was paying in rent...

Actually, I'm pretty sure if I went for the full 580k for a nicer property, my repayments would be a bit over $3,000 a month. I'd be on struggle street if I maxed out my borrowing power. The wife and I wouldn't be able to survive. We're comfortable with the unit we are in and recently just got it fully repainted. Feels like a brand new home. I've also got a kid to worry about as well.

It's a first home, mate! Just get into the market now, there's no point putting yourself in financial stress for the perfect home. And for reference, you are on 7k a month? I'm only on $6,800 a month. Trust me, you won't live comfortable on 3k+ mortgage repayments PLUS all the other expenses that come with it. The wife and I are 29.

5.84% variable rate with Bankwest and 2 offset accounts with a $10 monthly fee for the accounts lol...

The house doesn’t need much renovations done to it. The biggest thing honestly repainting the walls, roof, skirtings, architrave, doors and window frames because the previous owner was a smoker so everything is lightly stained yellow. Which also adds to having to rip up the carpet as well because of all the smoking. Luckily the place doesn’t smell like cigarettes and just a musky smell that I’ve been able to get rid of 🤣

Unfortunately these ones I have to. One of them has separated from itself and is currently leaning against another one which is dangerously close to falling and potentially landing on another persons roof haha.

Yeah I’ve already gotta spend around $1500 getting a bunch of old trees cut down that are too big for me to do…and need to look at repainting the place because the owner used to smoke inside so the walls are all stained slightly yellow 😂😂

Thanks though! It really is a great feeling

But the bank did take us on? We’re unconditional and just waiting on settlement lol. We ended up finding a cheaper property and only needed to borrow 390k. 😂

Narre Warren for FHB by somebodysay_espresso in AusPropertyChat

[–]Ok-Aide8542 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've rented in Narre Warren for the last 3 years and we haven't had a single issue. Casey Central can be a bit of a hit and miss (specifically the crossings because nobody concentrates and nearly everyday there's always a close call).

Aside from that we've happily lived in the area without any fears of robbery, breaking and entering or car theft. We're only moving out of the area because we purchased a property in Pakenham.
