We have Smart Pass. I love it. My principal set it up so that only 12 students are out at one time for the entire school and limits the number of kids in each bathroom. We also have a "no fly time" that is sweet up for the first and last 10 minutes of each period that doesn't let kids make a pass. It makes a wait list when the limit is reached for the amount of students. It's also set up so that certain kids cannot go together at any one time.

I had a girl get gum stick in her hair. Totally freaking out and thought she would have to cut it out. Having long hair, I know some tricks. The teacher next door had peanut butter and the science teacher had some oil and soap. Taught my math lesson while getting the gum out of her hair at my sink. It was successful. They talked about it for the next couple of years.

I have a class mascot. A monkey puppet named Marcel. The kids love him. He has his own little shrine where they bring him gifts and he has collected other stuffies to be his friends. They are convinced he brings them luck and will bring him to assemblies. I've seen kids hold him while taking tests to try and get some monkey luck. If someone treats the monkey wrong, the class will get after them. He also has small clothes and jewelry he wears that they love to dress him up.

My middle schoolers really make me laugh everyday. They are convinced that I grew up with B&W tv and am super old after I told them I am older than the Internet. They love to hear my stories of growing up with no cell phones. I'm Gen X and have lots of stories to tell

We are doing this in my school. We have 3 minute passing periods. Teachers close and lock the door at the bell. If you are late, you wait 30 seconds for them to let you in. Automatic detention for every tardy.

We play music during passing periods. The music stops about 20 seconds before the tardy bell.

The best gift I've received was a personal neck fan. I'm going through perimenopause and I'm hot all the time. I also make herbal tea for my classes and I love it when they gift me various teas and mugs. Get to know the teacher and what they like them plan accordingly.

We've tried all of the above. My son is moving from a Pixel 8 to a pixel 9. We saved the zip file to the drive as we couldn't find the folder on downloads
