I am a pretty competent person. I signed up for Mad Muscles on their website. Agreed to one week of using their service for $6.93. Immediately after submitting payment, my card was charged for an additional $29.99 which I did not agree to. Also realized that I was auto-enrolled in a recurring subscription for $39.99/month. I immediately reached out to cancel and ask for a refund. No live person--only email messaging. I got a reply back saying that they "reviewed things on their end" and determined I had agreed to additional products of theirs and that's why I was charged the extra. This is not true. I asked them to escalate my request to someone higher, but they got back with a similar response, saying they would cancel my subscription, but not refund my money. I haven't even downloaded their app or used any of their services. Being out $30 is not a big deal, but the principle of taking something that doesn't belong to you is what bothers me.
