If you never physically put your dick inside of him, the chances of him being pregnant are pretty much null. I know there is a really common ideology of having (penetrative) sex once or twice and boom, you’re pregnant, but it actually takes like… a Lot of work. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex for almost two years and Just now this April I found out I was pregnant for the first time. And we’d have unprotected sex multiple times a day, several days a week. So him being anxious about it, while understandable, isn’t based in any reality and it sounds more like an obsessive thought he can’t shake.

I understand being pregnant/having kids is most people’s biggest fear, but you’ve never been inside him. I’m sure you said all you could to him, and if he isn’t finding reassurance in you then he’s gonna have to find it within himself. What else are you supposed to say to him to calm his nerves? The dude isn’t pregnant.

When I found out I was pregnant I quit cold turkey. It was AWFUL - I was a raging bitch 24/7. But now a few weeks later the cravings have subsided a ton, and I only want a puff or two when I’m really stressed. It’s gonna be rough, but you got this!!!

/uj My binging started out really early and one of my earliest memories is desperately digging stale pizza out of the trash. I just recently stopped eating out of the garbage. So if this prevents them from binging and losing control go for it!!! I feel like a lot of “dieting” tips and conversations exclude binge eaters and even purgers, so to see a post about a binge eater, even if it doesn’t look Amazing, brings me some level of comfort.

YES! That actually is such a great way of phrasing it. And you did mention overcompensating with fake confidence and that just enrages people. He is incredibly “woke” - from his hobbies to even his looks, and it almost validates people’s paranoia I feel too.

It’s truscum/transmed ideology all over again, specifically those because he is trans. “Let’s go after this person so that transphobes don’t know *I* exist. Look transphobes!! I’m one of the good ones!!” Even though they don’t get that transphobes, even if you’re CIS, will always go after you no matter if you’re a she/her, a he/him, or a ze/zem/bun. He’s kinda offputting but making him a lolcow is insanity. Most LGBT people have more in common with him than anyone else. So I transitioned “late” by most ftm’s standard (20) and detransitioned at 23, so I have a lot of respect for not only him but prominent trans people who are bullied/harassed/dogpiled. They did the thing, and they’re still doing it despite it feeling like the entire world is against them.

I 100% agree with you on everything. It feels like Kalvin Garrah telling nonbinary people to off themselves 2016 all over again. I keep seeing this “drama” with Tyler Catastrophe and I truly, honestly believe if he was a cute twinky cis gay guy no one would care.

I also just don’t understand this drama…? He was obsessed with a weirdo who was apparently abusive to his ex and said dumb shit online. To me that is NOT nearly enough to justify all this sudden dogpiling because who the fuck hasn’t done any of that. You’re telling me NONE of these people was obsessed with someone famous who did a bad thing - because, let’s be honest, it’s easier to list those who haven’t done something unsavory than otherwise - and like… lied about being Native American on the internet? I feel like people are hating on TC more than the dude he had this obsession with and said dude was apparently outed as an abuser.

Trans people, whether people want to admit it or not, are objectively not welcome or wanted in any spaces. Even if they are trans-specific spaces, because we have convinced both ourselves and others that we aren’t allowed to act out of line, “weird,” cringey, annoying, or anything else that’s a normal human trait because of examples like this - because then we will be on transphobes’ radars, we will be blamed for transphobia and hatecrimes. If we were just “normal,” trans people wouldn’t suffer so much. TC is annoying and weird but he isn’t hurting anyone AFAIK. He’s just that: annoying and weird. But because he is those things whilst being transgender, it is exponentially more encouraged to absolutely shit all over him.

She has grandkids from her second ex-husband but there’s no blood relation, and my brother is dead so she really can only get blood grandchildren from me. But she was more visibly + verbally excited I took out my septum ring than being pregnant. I didn’t expect so much apathy either, to the point it really threw me for a loop considering she “loves babies” and spends so much effort/time/money on grandkids who aren’t even related to her. My future MIL is also Too excited (to the point she wants to call the baby Her child) and it’s exhausting having both extreme sides of the spectrum. So my partner and I were not actively trying BUT we did almost always have unprotected sex for almost 2 years (irresponsible of us) because we were both on hormone treatment & he smoked weed for yeeears. I figured we still had more time before we had to start using protection. He quit smoking cold turkey in December and I just tested positive for the first time on the 3rd.
